Sorry for the double post, but a thought just occurred to me.
The Army of Light, it's going to be sort of like a Kirin'Tor/Sha'tar situation.
We have three people who are missing from the game, that should have, by all accounts, been in Outland for BC.
Turalyon, Alleria Windrunner, and Fenris the Hunter.
Turalyon is going to be the main commander, since he has a pretty neutral stance.
Alleria is going to lead the Alliance faction, and Fenris is going to lead the Horde faction.
Any thoughts?

But Hivolt, you think the army's main recruiter, Adal, will just stand around and let a human run the thing. I mean the Naruu are the ones who made it.

He was the Chieftain of the Thunderlord Clan during the Second War, and the Captain of the Sythegore Arm(elite raider caste).

Turalyon won't be "running it" per-say. He'll be more like Khadgar in Shattrath, methinks, but more active in his role. I think he'll probably play a part in keeping the peace between the Horde/Alliance factions. And I could see him being the main field commander for the Army as well.

Nah man, Adal would be out there pwning some demons. You seen what happens when one kites the Fel Reaver to him... Good times....
Anyway, I could see him as a peacemaker role yeah, that would make sense.
EDIT: Hivolt, do you have an email address you wouldn't mind posting, just want to get you to look at something.

Very true, but I wouldn't want to see him just sitting on his thumbs doing essentially nothing. I want to see him out pwning some Legion arse too.

Blast, missed more of the Garona discussion heh.... but yeah, from the way she acted with Khadgar during the Last Guardian, she was an "adult", as most of the time within Karazhan she wouldn't have been controled, yes she has to go back and talk with Gul'dan often, but as she didn't have an actual mission, they just let her do as she wanted.
As for the Army of the Light, more then likely we'll see Naaru commanders, like the guy leading the Scryers and the Aldor at Black Temple, but there will be a wide array of speices helping out.

How do Naaru fight? Aren't they just essentially glowing shards? -.0
Why, they send champions of course, because you know, that's just their style.

With the power of Light within every Fiber of their beings. Think of a smite cast from a normal priest, now think of a smite cast from a 15 foot glowing crystal infused with the Light itself....
The Naaru use proxies sure, but they can defend themselves when their not weakened by crashs and the like, look at M'uru, he's in a Naaru form when you fight him corrupted in Sunwell and he used to routinly wipe out 25 man raid groups.

Any thoughts?I like this idea. I like Turalyon. I hope he understands and respects the New Horde.

Doomhammer really represented the old Horde. Alliance heroes advocating for peace with the Horde are something normal, logical, and civil. In fact, Alliance heroes wanting to, if not become friends, at least have a truce with the new Horde are are equivalent to the entire Alliance accepting the worgen in their ranks. The worgen (just like the Horde) are being accused of being savage, vicious, bloodthirsty, and a ton of other things. Which is obviously not the case - both the worgen and the new Horde have proven that they can show restraint
when exercising their great power
. Please leave the box 90% of the Alliance is stuck in

There is a good psychological study that proves that the majority of people tend to act according to the way they are being treated. Treat the Horde like savages, and you get savages. Treat them like equals...
