I just looked up the incoming area Vazj'ir. The K'valdir don't seem done yet.
Perfect
.
It was plenty obvious that they wern't. Remember the battle plans you took from Hodir's landing? They seemed to be for a Kvaldir attack against Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms. I want to know why they seem to hate naga so much, though...
They're both of the sea. Vykrul were made directly by the titans, and the naga were warped by the Old Gods.
Pantheon hates Old Gods, Vykrul hate naga. Just my view, but it seems very logical.
Makes sense, but there's nothing to say that the Kvaldir know much about or even care for the Titans. So I don't think the two are directly related.
Doesn't need to be; could be something wired into their code to make them hate the servants of the Old Gods and want to stop them from growing too powerful.

Didn't the Vrykul say that the Titan's abandoned them and they need to turn tot heir new leader?
I think that might have just been the Dragonflayer though.

Still doesn't mean that it's not hard wired into them.

So guys... What is the celestial horse in lore, exactly? Did Algalon have sex with invincible or something?

A cool looking mount, that's pretty much it. And the mount uses a hippogryph animation.

Not anymore then Mimirion's Head or the Rocket mounts.

I could see a goblin designed rocket, they already have RPGs, but I agree with Mirmir's head.

Another bit for the Roleplayers here.
Hmm, an interesting bit on roleplaying in the newest expansion.

Is it me or did they make a mistake in that article? How can an Undead High Elf revere Elune?

It was a player that said that, seems that they made a bit of a mistake.

A tall man in midlife with a rough-hewn handsomeness and brown hair that refused to be tamed, Varian was to his people the epitome of a champion. But now there came a threat that Varian could not understand how to handle.
His people were not waking up.
More to the point, each day found the numbers growing. It had started with one or two, then five, ten, and more. With each newly discovered slumberer, the populace grew more pensive. Some thought it a disease, but the scholars with whom the king conferred were certain it was far more. Some force was specifically attacking Stormwind through a curious form of attrition … and Varian knew exactly who it was.
The Horde.--Stormrage
Silly Varian... xD

Damn it Knaak. If it wern't for the fact that his books are a part of warcraft lore I wouldn't consider them a part of warcraft lore.
They arn't bad, the characters and descriptions are just worn out, overpowered, and poorly concived.

This, so much. The idea of a book on the War of the Ancients was great! Time travelling mage who teaches Illidan magic, angsty orc who delays Sargeras himself? Orbs and unruly hair, I'm sick of it.

Knaak's writing is the literary equivalent of bad anime... :P
I haven't read Twilight, but Stephanie Meyer can't be much worse than him... :P

I wouldn't say that Brox delayed him, more or less just irritated him to the point that he stopped what he was doing and killed him. Delayed would imply that Brox managed to put up some sort of a fight - which, besides the scar on Sargeras' leg, he didn't.
And Rhonin is just rediculous.
This brings up an interesting question; should the weapon made by Cenarious - Brox's axe - actually been able to hurt Sargeras? We're talking titan vs. a demigod, I think that it might have been another mistake on Blizzard's part.

It's a weapon made by one of the beings who was looking after Azeroth after all. The Axe itself was also made from nature and was considered unbreakable, not any different then Frostmourne killing a dragon or the Ashbringer able to kill hundreds of Undead with a single sweep.
