Hm, one of these days I have to buckle down and read through my entire warcraft library in chronological order heh.

What if Tifin, Varian's wife, hadn't died?
Another good one, also adding.
I'll be off for awhile. Apparently I have quite a bit of reading to do, lol.
I'll start work on the first article as soon as I finish BtDP.

In the same vein; what if Onyxia had succeeded in her plot; killing Varian's will, and just leaving the other half in existence?

What if Stormwind hadn't been rebuilt?

Just thought of this: What if Illidan had beaten Arthas at the Frozen Throne? Ofc The Scourge would likely be wrecked or destroyed, but the impact on the world? Illidan's non-insaneness?

What if Illidan had succeeded in using the Eye of Sargeras against the Frozen Throne before Arthas had merged with Ner'zhul?

What if Kel'thuzad had not been corrupted?

But wouldn't another (perhaps weaker cultist) rise to fill that void?
Then again, I think Kel'thuzad originally created the Cult of the Damned...so.

Without Kel'Thazud to lead the Scourge forces in Lordaeron, by creating the Cult, they would have never did what they did.

Of course, we don't know if someone else would take his mantle.

This.

Of course, we don't know if someone else would take his mantle.
It would have been harder to find one such as KT; he believed in everything the Scourge stood for, and allowed Arthas to kill him to continue the plot.

I believe Kel'thuzad wasn't that bad from the start. Sure, he was power-hungry, but I don't think what he wanted in the beginning was to scour the living from the face of Azeroth. Besides, the Road to Damnation clearly describes him having second thoughts, especially when he climbs Icecrown.

I've just finished reading Ledgends Volume 3, and have one thing to say: I don't think Hemet Nesingwary has been anymore awsome then he was in that.
EDIT: And the
pumpkin
refference at the end of the tale of hatred one - or whatever, the one with the blood elf, Forsaken, and Scarlet Crusade - was hilarious.

Oh....my
*Shuffles to a corner, humiliated*
Then again, this is the person who kept reading patch 3.3 as `Fail of the Lich King`
Heh, don't worry about it, I've done the same thing thousand of times before.
For instance: I keep thinking Hement Nesingwary is Hemet Nessingway

Aye, Hemet was awsome in that story, shows he's just not as crazed as everyone thinks, like all those hunters in The Tundra.
