I was wondering what you guys... damn I cant believe im asking this, im usually so against it... what you think about
this build
It is for PvP, using Frostfire as main spell.
I wanted to know if the talents I would get in Arcane would worth the lose of ones in Frost in a build like
this
What scare me is how frostfire taking 0.5 more seconds to cast would affect me.

FFB lock both school? I thought it was locking only Fire tree. Yeah, thats bad then.

you should still use FFB in pvp tho, its usefull against rogues to slow and keep them from vanishing without using clos

Yeah, it's called frostbolt, and using an AoE to force a destealth. WOWZERS!
*EDIT* I might as well address the OP anyways.
It's not that casting FFB in pvp is BAD necessarily, it's that you will RARELY ever get the chance to cast even TWO spells freely. If you just stick to frostbolt, you can get two casts off in 1 second less the time. As frost, the only time where you really really want to cast a frostbolt is when you're finally lining up a shatter combo.
In pvp, if you get school locked in fire/frost from casting FFB, the only school that matters is FROST because now you can't Ice Block for 5/6/7 seconds (this is only if you're frost spec, as fire obviously both schools matter a great deal to you). Just watch some pvp videos and you'll see how it's done. In an entire fight (1v1), you can probably count on one hand how many frostbolts they use, but uncountable Ice Lances, Fire Blasts, and other instant cast spamming.
...It basically boils down to never having time to cast anything, and talents in the frost tree not benefitting FFB enough to make it better than Frostbolt. If you pick up 2 points in empowered frostbolt, it already makes it stronger than FFB, speaking from a DPS point of view.

When I'm in a situation where I can stand and cast a 3 second spell with a rogue anywhere near me, I'll remember that.
after a sheep, or maybe a deepfreeze, i see alot of pro mages do that, you should use frostbolt most of the time, but there is times were FFB is better
i see that my post is kinda easy to missunderstand, i ment that you should stop using FFB, frost bolt is still better for damage and cast time

I like the build, i saved the that page so i have something to go by. But what about improved cone of cold? I really like that spell.
imp. coc is old school. the talent became more disregarded after ice lance was introduced. TtW is a better investment
