A few things would be helpful.

Whats is your current spec?

A link to your armory would be nice.

I like cookies.

After that, lots of people would tell you the best specs to maximize your DPS.

Well, I am currently Surv. Specced. Is working GREAT for me in Raids-Heroics. Fairly decent in PvP, Better than decent in PvE.

Just a fore-warning: Don't go Surv. right away. Stay MM until you can conjuer up some good DPS (about 1.5k should do it) Then switch to Surv.

Short answer: spec the way you find more interesting and fun to play. Anything else is just good material for a headache. Focus on having fun without caring too much about "uber DPS" and such. Have fun, find the style that suits your needs and stick to it until you master it.

Long answer: read the damned sticked threads and one of the gazilion guides you'll find using the talent Google :-)
