I am almost positive that with your gear level 3k is about as well as you should perform... But Ret has never been my strength, so I will let the experts speak.

u should be doing 3k dps with u gear the only thing i can tell u that u r over cap the hit rate so u can change somthing to have more crits cause as i know u need to have 30%crit un buff (that is what i have been told and what i have when i am playing as a ret).
