I've played an end game prot warrior in T6 content, and a end game bear tank. I've been tanking in wow for over 2 years. So i feel i have a good feel for how other classes work when tanking.
I really love playing my DK as a tank. You know how much easier heroic shattered halls would have been as a prot warrior if i had had an ability like DnD? My single target TPS may be a little lower, but i dont think its so much lower that i cant compete with warriors, and my aoe threat generation is hands down the best in game. I've tanked along side pally's in aoe situations and they just cant keep up
I think the thing i really like the most about DK tanking is im not hindered by the need to be attacked to maintain threat like every other tanking class. Pally's need to get hit to regen mana, and warriors/druids need to get hit to generate rage. I dont have any of those worries.
Not to mention, having 2 taunts, one of which is a ranged pull taunt. oh yea. thats nice.
Oh and one thing i always wanted to do on my prot war which i can do now, is tank with a 2 hander. I just think wielding a giant 2 hander looks so badass.
there are just so many little things about tanking as a DK that after tanking as a warrior for long are like god sends. You know how bad prot warriors would kill for just one of our abilites?

DKs are too good as tanks, hence they're getting nerfed more than any other class in 3.1.
We'll see how good they tank after the nerfs, but i'm sure even more adjustments will come after 3.1 as well.
i dont see a lot of nerfs for DK's in 3.1
Its true things are changing, but IMO most of the changes are for the better.

read Howling blast i mean a DK that pulls of Death and decay get's the group together then cast HB? I will 6k crits on his screen, that will be easy TPS.
