Boomkins and Haste

So I recently acquired a new helm(the new helm is on the armory, it's not enchanted or anything. For reference my old helm was the boomkin druid helm from Ony10) for my druid and when I put it on I noticed that I lost quite a bit of haste. Before I was at around 400(which is rather low) but now I'm all the way down to around 320 or so.
My question is should I gem for haste to make up for some of the hate I lost, or should I continue gemming SP and get the haste through gear I acquire later?

What about both haste and crit-soft capped?
I currently have 1052 crit(without Idol) and 758 haste. I´ve not changed any gems since I got the gear and depending on when I got it I´ve gemmed different (below haste-cap or crit-cap). Usually I would say crit is better but at this level it feels as if it´s more like 50/50 between them as it´s useless during either lunar or solar eclipse (with NG proc).
Haste soft cap is
401 haste rating
with all raid buffs present.
Crit soft cap is
1575.5 - int/3 - Idol
, where int is the value displayed in your armory page and all buffs are present except Focus Magic.
When you are capped at both best option is to stack spell power.
Extra crit comes handy anyways, to crit more with wrath.
Pre haste/crit:
SP > Haste > Crit > Int > Spirit
Post Haste, Pre crit:
SP > Crit > Haste > Int >Spirit
Post haste/crit:
SP > Haste > Crit > Int > Spirit
All 3 of these priority lists should show you that your ideal gear choice is SP/Haste/Crit. Stacking for spell power tend to be synonymous with people looking for a small boost to SP from Spirit items, when this is quite a bad option in the end.
Capped with Both mean Haste has a slight lead over crit in dps value per rating and is close enough to SP that you will find that sometimes your optimal gemming for a socket is SP/Haste (Reckless) rather then straight SP.

Is there any one upgrade that would be better than the others? I'm somewhat desperate as I'm being told that I need to up my DPS as it was rather low last night in ICC25.
Here's the log:

I'm rather sure it's not my rotation since it's pretty much the same rotation every other boomkin does, so I can only think it's my gear. I would definitely appreciate some help here.

My tips is the same as always..
=)
Lespaul knows it.. him and me always have wilddiscusions over it..
Stack up haste.. ! try to aim for 600-700+ is a good number.. Ideal would be 1000+ but not of eny cost of other stats ofc.
After u have Hit around the cap. and haste it up and crit it up.. and ofc SP up. =)

in my moonkin set i have ~900 haste, crit cap & sp over 3k i still use reckless in yellow slots. dont really care about clipping wrath too much since haste is still very nice for starfire. back when i used to ask around about gemming i was told there's really no point that it becomes best to stack 23 sp in every slot, even with crit and haste "caps". any new info to refute that?
