I'd recommend
MikScrollingBattleText
for overpower/Sudden Death procs because it's much clearer than the built-in notifier. Also shows an icon and if you don't need to set it up so nothing advanced with options needed. If you want to go deeper in you can even make it play a sound.
Rend just use a DoT timer or XPerl unit frames works nicely too. Shows your debuffs on targets bigger than other people's debuffs and with a timer so it's pretty easy to see.
