A bear is the best at multiple target tanking, aoe tanking. Turtles are the most efficient at single target.

Croc is the best, but I used a wolf to lvl with as he could hold aggro better than the other pets which wasnt very well but I killed stuff quick enough. Get the FD minor glyph 5 seconds can save you quite easly.
This is a article with a few vids of a guy off tanking nax with a croc pet, its well worth a look.

Very interesting, after doing some research on the mechanics it still seems kinda flaky. Talented
Bad Attitude
has a 45s uptime with a 1m 24s cd. that leaves 39s where your pet is not retaliating back for aoe aggro. A Bear's
Swipe
has a 5s cd and costs 20 focus. With
Go For the Throat
I've never had my bear focus starved or anywhere near, especially while using Volley.
The problem I have is what happens to your pets AOE aggro when Bad Attitude goes on CD for 39s and your farming Heroic Ramps?

its not only bad attitude that they have, remember you have to be BM for this to work, as well. Bears are good but not as nice, I would still always go with my wolf for lvling though.

I think we've all gotten off topic of the OP. Yes, Gorillas are still good for leveling & dailies. They still have Thunderstomp through talents. If you want more AOE bears have Swipe & Thunderstomp and Crocs have Bad Attitude & Thunderstomp. Anything is good for leveling, Cat, Ravager, Moth, Wolf, it's more about personal flavor while leveling.
