Agility is the stat which provides benefits for absolutely ALL the necessary stats for a tank: it gives dodge (avoidance), armor (mitigation) and crit (threat generation and in 3.1 it will boost Savage Defense - mitigation).
Strength means only some extra threat generation and in 3.1 it will boost Savage Defense as well. Compared to the overall benefits from agility, strength remains way behind for Bears.

You lost me on this one, friend... Feral druid gear is THE SAME as rogue gear essentially, thus comes packed with stamina and agility right off the bat. Gems should be stamina and agility as well. At least the gear in level 70-80 branch. In Burning Crusade and before there were somewhat different itemization standards for feral druids. But now, for tanking, it's all about stamina and agility, period.
