Edit: How was your New Years man?

I tried to Torrent Fallout 3, but it didn't work right, so I just Did The Right Thing
™ and bought it legally.
And this sentenced clearly not flawed... Or should I say you doing the right thing only after it the first didn't work is not flawed in any way shape or form :PHeh, think about who you're talking to... :P
But yeah, thing is, I have like no money, usually, so I can't afford to get games the usual way. The way I see it, they're not even losing a sale, because I couldn't have bought it in the first place.
That is a really twisted way of seeing it, but I get your point :D

And it reminds me a little of German world war 2 torture methods, the pulling off of fingernails was a classic start to those.

Plus, Dag'rema is honestly curious about who Gurka is, and Gurka honestly doesn't want to tell her. So Dag'rema intends to fix that problem the best way she knows how... :P

I read it again every so often. It was really good. Wish more could have come out of that.
But for this one, I'm not trying to torture Gurka to death. I'm just trying to give her a big tall glass of perspective to cure her naivete.

Hmm, if I knew some page numbers I might investigate this Salisha you speak of...
And I never get to do torture scenes because most of my characters are good :P, and my evil characters never get a chance to. In Aftermath I had all good characters except one or two minorish evil characters.

Thus far, flaying seems to be pretty high up there, but that has a high risk of shock/bleeding out/infection. Making things red hot and then stabbing people with them is always a good one
Personally, I'm a big fan of clipping off the fingers and toes. It's not hard to stem the bleeding, and it really loosens the tongue, mainly because of its permanence on top of the pain. Once someone cuts off all your fingers, you just have no fingers, even if you are rescued or escape, so it really scares them.

Ugh. If you want to really hurt someone that's weaker than you, grab their hand and pinch the area on the thumb-nail right up near the skin, the whitish area. Hurts like hell.

Torture in the end is just not too useful, as well as wrong. Your information just can't be reliable if they'll say anything to get the pain to stop.Who ever said I would torture someone for
information?

But in all seriousness, torture can be a necessary way to get information. If there was an armed nuclear warhead set to go off somewhere in New York City, and you had a prisoner who you
knew
knew the location (say he's the guy who organized it or something), I would authorize torture to get the information. When you have that many living riding on it, you have to do whatever you can.
But in most situations, it is not moral or even useful
