Where'd you find it, how do you install it, and are there any security problems, WoW account or otherwise?
EDIT: If you need a reason I'm pondering creating some actually good images of the LnD/TFN cast (not based around the Wowhead model viewer).

I prefer
version 6.0.3
, but that requires a bit of tweaking in order to get it to work. Last I checked, it doesn't work with the current patch, so I have a version of WoW patched up to 3.0.8 in a different directory and modified my config file to match. 6.0.3 has several features that I like, like the ability to load an NPC outfit onto a character and having access to a vast collection of unused items that appear in the files. It does have some problems with particles effects though, so you have to turn those off. In addition, due to the fact that it only works up to 3.0.8, it doesn't have Tiers 8-10.
There's also the
"Official" Version of WoWModelViewer
, that has does work with the live client, and goes all the way up to Tier 10. However, it doesn't have the NPC items, and I've found that the actual model bank can be slightly buggy when you mess with it (I've had a problem where, after turning on the 3d belt model for one character, it won't turn off for others).
Because of the difference, I use both depending on my needs. The Official version is better out of the box, and you don't have to get a separate WoW directory and edit the config file to get it to work. Still, I love the features of 6.0.3 so much that that is the primary one that I use.

This just got really technical...
But there are no major security flaws that could lead to my account getting hacked in either of them? That's my biggest concern.

No, there isn't any security problems. They are both safe to download as long as you get them from those sites. If you go sniffing around elsewhere for modelviewers, that's out of my jurisdiction.
If you have MSN, I can help you with any problems you have during setup whenever you do download them.
