Newb, Riku in KH2 is better.
I will always hate Riku after today. I was playing Chain of Memories on the way up, and I just finished Destiny Islands, and then you fight Riku. Holy $%^&,that guy is a pain in the ass. 3 full bars of health, and he has a nasty habit of comboing all his cards without losing any, meaning he just does 20+ combo after 20+ combo, most of which stun you.

That's because Riku is just better then you....and technically, you never fight the real Riku in CoM; you fight the Repliku.

But, once you beat the main story as Sora, you have access to the Riku side of the game, which is actually a lot more enjoyable.

I didn't, but I didn't have time to post earlier in Aftermath. But, once you beat the main story as Sora, you have access to the Riku side of the game, which is actually a lot more enjoyable.
This is true, but he's still a pain.
And my GB appears to have vanished, so I need to track that down before I can finish.

So... Birth By Sleep...
I've been playing entirely on Proud, because I did the same with KH2 and Days. So, I started with Aqua because she is hawt and cool and crap. The story was pretty easy, although Braig gave me some fits before I just went ahead and reflect spammed.
Next was Terra. I got stuck on a few bosses, due to how much faster he drops without all of the cures. But I eventually got to the end.
Now, to unlock the second half, all I need is Ven... Who I honestly hate now...
I don't know if it is his fighting style or what, but he is giving me a lot of fits. And I'm hating that his worlds seem almost entirely made of escort missions and boss fights.

ikr? It's in my car somewhere, but I can't get to it atm, so I'll have to just play KH2 until I can.

Days is an interesting one, I liked it.
I was actually really sad at the end. Xion needed more screen-time.
The Riku fight in that is badass incarnate though.
