Also, sorry for not posting, my power died out again and I spent my time at our gaming store playing Monster Hunter >.> and I ended up spending more money....
So I'll post in a moment, gotta gather my things. No problem.
And I'm starting to feel proud of my depiction of the Aftermath of the Cataclysm War. 40 years later, and the wounds are still just barely buried beneath the surface, at least for the Night Elves, which makes sense, considering their lifespans. For them, it's like it just happened a while ago.
You have Taelani, a veteran of the most brutal parts of the war, who's succumbed to outright delusional thinking because of it. Then you have Dawnleaf, who merely heard the stories, but still feels resentment because of them, though she tries to be open minded about the Horde. And then there's Jade, who's dealt with her experiences by cutting all personal ties to the conflict; by just treating it like any other job, she detaches herself from having to deal with the emotional strains associated with it.
Then you have the Shatterspears, who had good will towards the elves until a sudden and unexpected outburst of vicious violence splintered them and rekindled old hatreds. Lots of them watched their family members bleed into the ground as frenzied elves and other Alliance races went on a cold blooded murder spree.
I haven't got to approach the orc angle of the war yet, due to only having two major orc characters, and the only one old enough to have been alive during the war was an insane Legion affiliated warlock.

I love it when a battleground goes
great
. Just did WSG. First flag, I ran with the FC on Kitanga, we ran to the roof and defended long enough for O to kill their FC and let us cap. Boring, normal stuff, right?
Well on our second flag, we did the same thing, but the enemy FC was
really
ballsy/stupid, and chased us
onto
our roof. She was a DK and had a really good healer, so it wasn't looking good for us (our hunter FC, a Healer shammy, and me, a glass cannon Enh shammy). Well, we got reinforcements from a warrior just in the nick of time, and we managed to burn down their healer, and then their FC was short work after that. Second cap.
The third flag, I lost track of the hunter that had made the first two caps, but I saw our good old Healer shammy struggling to slow the same DK as she ran off with our flag. I jumped in to help, but she had some crazy durability/selfheals, so she ended up killing me. But I managed to run back after I respawned and used Earthbind/Frost Shock! to keep her slowed long enough for the rest of our team to come and kill her just in time for our FC to make the final cap.
There are some BGs where it's just "Oh cool, we won." and there are some where you fight and struggle and claw and it just isn't enough. Too many people are AFK, or noobs, or the enemy team is just more coordinated than you.
But the really exciting matches are the ones that you fight as hard as you can and that little bit of extra effort pushes you over the edge to victory.
Edit: And then you have the retarded WSGs where you're the
only
one concerned with Defense and Offense, and everyone else is fighting in the middle... /sigh :\

Mmm, mentally scarring goblin on incubus action. And here I was hoping on ever getting aroused again.
Lol.
I don't PvP much (and my account's frozen until I'm working :/), because my only consistently played character is my priest, and she's a healer/healer PvE dual spec, and I don't really like having to tank
in a robe
in PvP situations. :P

Not necessarily Vrote but I suppose he could fit.
Which group is it? Netherstorm or Orgrimmar? and what's happened into it so far.

Which her?
The one the cult sprung up around, Dansha. And she's the night elf forgottenling and in the same body as Darrah, right? (she's not a character I'm familiar with, sry for all the questions).
What kind of attention? Are they all infected with Old God-DNA?

Just now realizing that Argona isn't among the Dansha group, where is she exactly? Not that I'll be editing my post, this'll work too. Heh, for all the confusion on my part I'm wondering if attempting to enter the Makorr is worth it...

Skree, I agree. I've been really annoyed at BG's lately, because I always get the twinked out preformed teams versus my random team, and it pisses me off pretty bad.
However, I did a BG on my warrior, and it was amazing. Me and a priest massacred our way through the same kind of prebuilt team, killed any group with less than six people in it, and capped the flag once (we got Perfection on that, but I only capped once). Loved it.
