They're less 20th century and more 21st century. They don't look like muskets anymore, more like assault rifles. At least IMO. I mean they do have belt fed weapons in game.Well that's kinda of OP, don't you think? :P
I mean, if you have a gun that can pierce wood, steel, and bone from 400 meters, how does anyone else have a chance without magic?

Vrem will have to be sure not to get hit then :PAgain, Epic Marksman; if he has a choice, he'll snipe you from far off, then only get in close with either the Dwarven made shotgun(blessed pellets in that case) or his dual gnome pistols.
Vrem himself is an Epic Marksman, and with Rottalon to watch the skies for him I don't think he's simply going to fall for one of the tricks he would use.
Le Fey would shoot the bird out of the sky(would make a nice kaboom too heh), then retarget on Vrem....and since when is Vrem an Epic Marksman? He's always been a hunter in everything you've had him in. There is a difference between them Morec.

He's a bit of a hybrid. Hunter for the pets (has he ever used traps?) and Epic Marksman for the gun skills (none of the magic involved, though, just quick hands and keen eye). Kinda a prestige-class scenario.
EDIT: As for weapon's debate: maybe they're a combo? All the power or range, but maybe never both?
EDIT2: And Vrem would see Rottalon go down, note the explosion and lack of a rocket, and go on high alert, sending out Marrow to sniff out whoever it might be attacking him. May also find cover. That's assuming Rottalon didn't already spot La Fey and alert Vrem, however.

No, he's been that way for a while, it's just never been brought up in debate before. I've even reffered to him as a marksman in a number of RPs (Killing Games is probably the easiest place to see that).

Yeah but don't forget, the Marksman class is the original, and the Prestige of that is the Epic Marksman.

? did it float into Ke'in's hut while I wasn't looking, that was the only time Sem'po and Ke'in talked about it, in troll...so I doubt anyone would know about that.
/shrug I go with the flow. Although the 'fairy' part implies something, methinks.
