To answer your question;
Yes and no, his recent course of events have definately led to a problem in the idea of relaxing. Now that everything is beginning to slow down, his sanity has temporarially cracked.
The main causes have been the battle with Dag, the soul-thing and his feelings for Snowmane, his argueing with Star-Pelt, Nightbane in general, and now the headaches aren't helping either.

Don't do anything to ruin the Rite, everyone. Just don't.
Or Ga will snap, and it's either going to be pathetic or devastating - in both cases, not a pleasant sight at all.
