In case noone has noticed;
I, personnally, want to blow this sanctum up. I've been in a LOT of RPGs where one side just gets a "safe zone" and have never been a fan of them.
The chance to destroy one? I'll take it.

Yeah, I don't like the concept of a safe zone either, at least not when you can go there at any time. "Villain chasing us? No matter! Portal to safe zone!"
Obviously a place like Shattrath or Dalaran can work as a safe zone, but at least you have to travel to them.
Also: I was reading about the Brazen Bull, and got directed to the movie Saw 3D. Remembered why I'm bugged by the Saw movies...
Here's the thing with torture and killing. Either you are doing it for justice, and enacting it upon people who deserve it (or at least people who you think deserve it), or you are purposely doing it to people who don't deserve it.
I like torture. Thinking about it makes me giddy. But it doesn't work when you try to mix those two kinds. It's one thing if you say "Yes, this person doesn't deserve to die a horrific death, but I don't care, I'm going to do it anyway." But in the Saw movies, it seems that often it's not the people who deserve it who get horrifically murdered. Just going off the Saw 3D synopsis, Joyce Dagen is killed in a Brazen Bull (which isn't just death, like the shotgun collar, but unspeakable agony) because her husband was a liar and didn't save her in time; and then Dina gets killed by saw (which also sounds extremely painful), because her boyfriends are jerks who saved themselves instead of her.
Now all of this is well and good, except that Jigsaw claims to be doing this to make his victims appreciate their lives more. He seems to think he's doing this for the greater good. That just doesn't work. Either you are a ruthless sadist who tortures people who don't deserve it because that makes you feel good, or you are a vigilante who tortures people because they deserve it. You can't have it both ways.

Eh sounds right.
And I don't appreciate the sanctum being pulled apart in a few god mode posts. It's something I've put my thought into and worked with. We can find a way to avoid it (the steward is going to be really frickin' pissed after this) but I'm not cool with destroying it because you don't like it.I don't think we're destroying all of it, just a few rooms.

And even the Sanctum itself can descend into g-mod posts when it comes to death...such as the Old One of Kali's against Dag's brand new one which was stronger, faster, more powerful, even though it was just 'born' lol; oh well, got the last laugh there when the Old One blew up the mountain =P.

Kali's sanctum as I remember it was just drab.Hey now; Kali's Sanctum was a 5 or so story home, with a full decked out prison and torture room, multiple portal terminus, a throne room, her own palatial bedroom, Kae's smaller room, the 'special' kitchen where her favorite type of meat was served, and of course, the core room where the Old One slept.....then, the invasion of the gnats, her death, and the madness of her pet, missing It's Momma blew it up heh, well, after attacking and crushing multiples of the Blackbite pack that were in it and trying to kill the invaders.

Eh mainly because for most of it, Kali was out and about in the world, doing things; up until Morec and Skree took over the Sanctum after Kali's death, and actually woke up her Pet, that it started acting like what it was; sentient living space forged out of a piece of an Old God. Still though, Kali had that place for about 30 odd years; she first started creating the original during the original time line after the Blood elves went to Kalimdor, then after her defection to the Twilight Hammer and C'thun, she started to alter it more heh.
But technically, don't know much about yours =P haven't really been reading the actual RP lol.
