The lanky troll saw the beast moving through the grass, and he took careful aim with his bow. It would be a clean kill, the beast would feel no pain before death overtook it. He asked the Loas to bless his strike, but for whatever reason they refused. Assuming that it was because of their wish for him to make this kill on his own, he silently let the arrow fly. It struck the ground just a few inches away from Silla. With a frown, he began to take aim once more.

Silla yelped when she saw the arrow land next to ran over to Nightbane hiding behind her. Sharadon turned to where the arrow had come from and started to growl.

"I may have snuck into there temple while trying to find the others. And when I was caught I created a smoke screen and started to run. So they replied by firing at me." He said.

The troll moved foreward through the trees and grass, relaxing the slack on his bow. The animal had clearly fled back to its den, good. A full grown adult would make a better meal than a simple pup, also put up more of a challenge to honor the Loas through battle. He kept his eyes and ears peeled for the beasts as he moved in the direction the pup had run, more wolverine figures just now being seen in the distance.

The troll stopped, just short of passing by a tree. The beast was getting ready to pounce - likely an alpha or pack mother, if the sound of the grass being moved by its weight was any indication of its size. He pulled back his bow and stepped past the tree, firing the arrow with that same motion.

The troll had already fitted another arrow into his bow and was about to fire when he got his first good look at the beast. But it was no beast, it was not the wolf he had thought it was.
"By da loa," was all he managed to whisper before realizing that he had about half a second to dodge the attack. Calling upon the power of the Loa Legba he made the dodge, he then dropped his bow and quiver and began to back away from them. "Nobal worgan, I beg ya #$%iveness. I 'av made a terribal mestake in attempin' ta take da life of joo and joor pack. Eef ya can, I ask dat joo forgeev mah poor judgemant and spar mah life." He held up his hands and lowered his head to add emphisis to how he felt.

The troll landed on the ground, quickly using an old potion of his father's to heal the wound just enough that he was able to call upon the Loa's healing. They complied, finishing closing the wound and curing the worgen toxin before it could take any hold. He breathed deeply now that he could again, but knew full well that the scars could never heal.
"Ah deserved dat," he said, then looked back at the female worgen. "Ah do be truely sorry, howevah. Whatevah Ah can do ta make eet up ta ya, nobal worgen, Ah shall. My name be Mal'nat, Shadow Hunter of da Loas. Do joo too have ah name?" He hoped that she could understand common and was not a feral as she appeared to be - suspecting that like likely due to his mistake.

"Joo need ta calm yaself, nobal worgen," Mal'nat said, "Ah weel help da best Ah can." He stretched his arms out towards the worgen, eyes closed and calling up on the power of the Loa Lukou. He attempted to use the peacefull, healing power of the Loa to calm the worgen, but he could not be sure if it would work.

"Ah made ah terribal meestake, nobal worgan," the troll said, cancelling the spell. "Ah... Ah thought joor children to be mere wolves. Had I known dat dey were worgen such as joorself, Ah would have never even reach for mah bow. Whatevah Ah must do to ahmnesty for mah actions, Ah will do so." He bowed bow, not yet going to retrive his bow and arrow however.
