"I stay out of your affairs already. In fact, I was only involved when I took young shamanka's soulstone from Dag'rema and when I gave the boy the book," Nagorm replied calmly. He strengthened his camouflage - Star-Pelt didn't need to know that the death knight was stronger than even the likes of Curho Demoneye, being surpassed only by Dag'rema herself - with her staff.
"The boy is under no influence of mine save for advice. Consider me notes on the book's margins."

"Who does the boy have to speak to when he feels down? A young orc he strives to become an ideal for? A crazed worgen who cannot make up her mind whether she loves or hates him? A nether wraith who is beginning to forget the mortal emotions?..."
Nagorm patiently listed all of Ga'Crane's friends and the reasons the troll would never come to them if he needed someone to comfort and encourage him.
"I am on my own, not with the Legion, nor with the Old Gods, or whatever else world threat you can think of. I have never casted a spell on the boy that would change his mind and will not do it later - he will not be himself and that's the thing I won't allow. This should be enough for you."

Nagorm drummed his fingers, leaning back in his armchair.
"The boy has potential. I have the knowledge. Throughout my existence I have found many things capable of changing the world - and the secrets will perish with me because everyone justly considers me an abomination. Young Ga'Crane, however..."
The death knight closed his eyes.
"All that I have will be his, with a couple of fail-safes for him not to become changed. Whatever he does with my legacy is not up to me to decide, nor is it up to you, or up to anyone else except for my apprentice himself. This is why I won't change him."
