The two let the chains fade away when Ebon-Maw was destroyed. "Now drop the scythe." Sylos said turning to the others. "That blade is cursed and must be destroyed." He added.

"I'm not sure I can let you do that, Nightbane. You have your mother's personality and magic in you. It may react badly to the Scythe."
Antharios stepped up. "I won't let you do that. Your rank is equal with mine, if not less, and I countermand your orders," he said.

"Whelp he's got me beat." Sasha said as she set her sword on her back. "I answer to Lady Liadrin." Sylos said taking a step forward. "That scythe is the cause of countless deaths. Letting that thing go is foolish." He said.

"The Blood Knights have no more jurisdiction over the Scythe than I do," Snowmane growled at Sylos. "I'm not happy about Nightbane keeping it either, but Flamehowl and Nightbane are the only ones that lay claim to it. The matter is between them."

Antharios shrugged. "It is indeed. I am assured that he has a plan for it. We will never let it run amock again. Or, at least I won't. And my blade is plenty sharp enough to stop it," he said.
