Star-Pelt's Sanctum
Vashadya walked alongside the others lost in thought. Now and then she examined the scenery a little, but otherwise she ignored it.

Star-Pelt's Sanctum
The worgen's ears pricked up as she detected that Vatec was following her. It seemed she would have to deal with him after all before she carried out her plan, unless she wanted to get trapped if there was no way out of the room she was planning on reaching. If she had a mage with her it would have been ideal, but she would have to head back to the Alliance attack force and see if any were available for that.
The paladin finished whirling his chain and hurled it at the nearest Ettins. The chain wrapped tightly around the three nearest to the dwarf, burning them as it went and weakening the magical bonds that linked the Ettins to those that were controlling them.
Vorlek chuckled as the searing light energy dispelled the shadows nearby him, they reformed moments later. "No chances you could be a decent chap and roll over and die?" the cultist asked, holding a hand out and using dark energy to choke Robert.
Xennar crashed back against the wall, before rising to his feet moments later and running after the elf, firing every now and then as he went. Ripper rose in a dazed manner and slunk off through the shadows, slowly pursuing the elf as well.

Robert could only gasp for air and flail the air madly as the world began turning black around him. He recovered, though, and realised that it was because of Aeglos hurling another grenade and then slamming into Vorlek.
"Same..." he croaked, standing up, "QUESTION!"
The gunman spun around, hurled a grenade at Ripper and began showering Xennar with explosive slugs.
Vatec frowned, realising where Amora was heading.
"Indigo leader to base, seal the gate BH-5\77!" he muttered into a pendant on his neck.

Star-Pelt's Sanctum
The worgen heard Vatec's words, the worgen fire an armour piercing bolt at her opponents torso, ducking behind several pillars that had collapsed as she reloaded.
Vorlek quick rose to his feet, the cultist made several quick stabs before fading back into the shadows and emerging behind Robert, proceeding to bring the knife down towards the other human's shoulder blades.
Ripper dove for cover and crept aside in the shadows while Xennar continued his charge, ignoring the slugs as they struck his light armour, now and then one passed through though the cultist made no sign of having noticed it.

"Mana Shield." Vatec said thoughtfully. A membrane of raw mana appeared around him, concentrating for a nanonsecond in one spot to annihnilate the bullet before spreading back. He then raised his hand, ready to cast a spell, but changed his mind and hurled a mana-infused grenade - of the kind that posed little to no threat to the structures but was deadly to the living.
"Rob, behind you!" Aeglos yelled, but Robert already spun around and, grabbing Vorlek's hand holding the knife and attempting to break it with one hand, balled the other one into a fist and punched him between the eyes.
"Your over-confidence is your weakness," the gunman hissed.
"What are you, undead?" Aeglos demanded, seeing that Xennar was still standing. He raised his bow and released a volley of arrows, aiming at the eyes.

Cultists' Lair
Vorlek chuckled, a portal opened up above Robert and water gushed out, followed by several piranhas which began to bite the human as they became enraged. Purple flames burst out from Vatec keeping him safe from the piranhas which were burnt up instantly, the flames traveled to his hand where Robert was holding it and began burning the human. The punch however, as well as searing Robert's fist in the process, knocked the cultist to the floor. Xennar ignored Aeglos comment, it was illogical anyway, the human avoided the arrows, all but one, which struck him in the left shoulder blade. The human pulled out a pistol and fired at the elf's neck.
Amora rolled quickly out of the way as the grenade landed. The worgen fired another bolt at Vatec, aiming for the head this time, before creeping away again. Vagrin meanwhile, was continuing to to keep the Ettins focused on him, allowing the Alliance soldiers to proceed and kill a number of them. Nevertheless there were at least half of the Ettins left and the dwarf was unsure he would be able to kill them all on his own to ensure his comrades went unharmed.

Gurka and Snowmane followed the constable, who had reverted to his human form, as he stepped into a courtroom.
"Your honor, I've brought the prisoners," he announced. "Four of them have already paid their bail."
"Very well then, have a seat," the judge replied.

"Mmm..." Dag'rema nodded. "I'll leave you to your tests then."

"As if trolls understood justice," Taelani laughed coldly. "They're hardly better than orcs. They just want to torture and kill another elf. And I suppose they'll get away with it too. Thanks to 'this' hypocritical peace, between the Alliance and the Horde, my people and their allies are too afraid of upsetting the balance to take any action. And so the trolls will slaughter one more elf with impunity, just as they have for thousands of years..." she murmured grimly, pausing to chuckle darkly. "But at least they're not orcs, I suppose."

"Most likely," Skreel agreed. "Though I've found that faith does little in this world," he chuckled quietly. "It is fine to believe that something is true, but in the case that it isn't, you must be prepared to make it so yourself. Such is the way of the Shadow..." he added, smiling.

Zezi had staid with ven. She was careful to always keep her eye's on the ground so that she wouldn't have to see the horrible murderer again. When the judge asked for names and everyone else spoke she staid silent hoping she wouldn't have to speak or look up at all.
