"Well den Ah'm not even gonna 'ave to go away," the troll smiled, rummaging through his satchels and taking out a waterskin. "Try not to spill anythin' on da patches or on da splints, okay?"

"Sure thing, thanks," Gurka smiled, clsoing her eyes and whispering a quiet prayer to the Element of Water before squeezing the liquid into her mouth. After drinking her fill, she wiped her mouth off with her arm and handed the waterskin back to Ga'Crane. "I know I've already said it a several times, and I hope you're not sick of it, but thanks again," she nodded. "You're not my slave, so I really appreciate all that you're doing for me."

The troll took back the waterskin and smiled ear to ear.
"To 'elp joo is not only a duty of mine, bein' joor friend, a good troll and a doctor," Ga'Crane began, folding fingers, "But also a pleasure. And Ah know joo would do da same for me, so don't joo worry - and by tomorrow evenin' we may even try to remove da splints. Now 'ow does dat sound?"

"The only viable solution I can think of is the annilahtion of those adventurers that destroyed our opperations in Kirin'Var," Curho said. "The Hammer will not aid us, and using the Legion's minions any more at this point will only lessen their faith in us. We are at a crossroads, miliady, one that no matter the path we take we face destruction and failure."
Lak'tuk looked over upon hearing her father's words. He was right, and she knew it. There was very little chance that they could recover. There were only five of them - even if one
was
a dragon - after all. What chance did they have?

"That sounds fantastic," Gurka replied, rolling her leg over to examine the splints again.
Character: Dag'rema
Location: Sanctum
"Hmm..." Dag'rema murmured quietly, not hearing or not caring about what the Imp had said. "While I'm not certain to what extent slaying the adventurers will further our plans, it may yet help us. Chance are, they know that we are still alive, and they will try to kill us again. It is better if we kill them first," she nodded, speaking as much to herself as Curho. "And then I
would
love to get my sister back..." she paused, thinking on the topic some more. "The question is, what methods shall we employ? Poison would be effective, and if we could stir up contention among them, that would help us greatly... Or we could simply hire an assassin to kill them. We have plenty of capital left with which to fund such an endeavor..." she murmured.
Character: Skreel, Themra, Taleani
Location: Duskwood
"We need you to decide whether we go after your traveling companion, or leave her to her fate and focus on getting the rest of your flock to safety first," Skreel stated simply, sitting with his back to a tree. "I will accept whatever decision you make..." he paused. "I am sorry to put such a heavy decision on your shoulders when you should be resting, but I did not want to make the decision against your will."
Taelani had worn herself out and was now lying exhausted against the tree to which she was tied. Themra finally awoke and turned over to her prisoner, who immediately began straining again. Themra rolled her eyes, but noted that it seemed the prisoner was trying to say something.
She moved over to the elf and knelt in front of her, looking her right in the eyes. "I'm going to take this gag off you now. You will tell me what you need, and you won't make any other sound. If you scream, no one will hear you, I will knock you out, and you won't get this opportunity again. Do you understand?"
Taelani nodded and Themra carefully took the gag off. The priestess gasped and caught her breath, no longer hampered by the thick cloth.
"I have to relieve myself," she hissed at the orc. "Will you let me do that?"
"Of course," Themra answered, making a makeshift leash that she tied about the elf's neck. Taelani looked confused, but Themra merely let out a dry chuckle. "If you so much as touch the rope, I will drag you behind the horse for a few miles."
Taelani growled, but Themra undid her bonds and she was able to duck behind the tree and get on with her business. As she finished, she felt the rope with her neck. It was not loose, and she'd have to take hold of it with her hands to get free. She looked to make sure the orc couldn't see her, before suddenly pulling the leash off and dashing away. She had gotten more than twenty feet when she let out a shriek of pain and collapsed onto the ground, and arrow piercing her right knee from the back.
"Tsk tsk," Themra shook her head. "If you crawl back here right now, maybe I'll treat that wound. It hardly matters to me if your leg gets infected. One leg or two, you're useful to me either way."
Taelani couldn't control herself anymore. She began sobbing uncontrollably, unable to escape, but unable to let herself be taken prisoner again. She kept up her weeping until it was cut off by Themra's replacing of her gag as the orc scooped her up, quickly bound her again, and tied her to the back of the horse.

Curho heard what the imp said, but ignored the demon for the time being. "Indeed," he muttered, thinking. After a few seconds, his expression twisted into a dark grin. "I think I may know just the person," he said.
He muttered dark words and his imp minion, Ziljub, appeared next to him. "I need you to deliver a message to that assassin Talah in the Ghostlands," he said to the twitching demon, who nodded frantically. Curho took a small peice of parchment and wrote down all of the names of those pursuing him that he could member and then handed it to the small demon. "Fail me and suffer."
The imp faded away into the void to quickly deliver his master's message, and Curho himself looked back down at Dragati. "Once I hear back from my imp," he said to the other imp, "we will discuss it further."

"I hope so," Gurka frowned, running her hand down the splints. "Amazingly enough, I've only broken a bone one before, back when I was a little girl. I ended up tearing up the splints to get at my leg and had to spend another week recovering," she added, chuckling quietly. "That wasn't very pleasant. I think I learned my lesson, though."
Character: Dag'rema
Location: Silithus
"Who do you suppose should be our first priority?" Dag'rema mused. "I mean, ideally we would kill them all--save for my sister, of course--but should that prove impossible, who would be the best to target?"

Curho thought about it. "The one named Star-Pelt, I think it was," Curho said. "He was the one that called down the ethereals upon us, without which we would have been victorious in the battle. Wether or not the ethereals would aid them without him there matters not, he was dangerous enough on his own." A few feet away, Lak'tuk nodded in agreement.

"Can you regrow it?" Gurka asked, a bit surprised that that was possible, although she knew that trolls had strange regenerative abilities. "I hadn't realized you could regrow a tusk. If you can, I would."
Character: Dag'rema
Location: Silithus
"Hmm... While he definitely still has potential as an organizer or a leader, I made sure to break his body enough that he wouldn't fight again," Dag'rema added. "That troll seemed fairly central to the group, as well."

"Yes, the troll," Curho said. "I speculate his death would bring a great drop to moral in the group. He had a level of dark power in him, however, and I believe that with the propper 'motivation' we may be able to convince him to join our side."
