"I-I'm s-sorry..." Gurka whimpered quietly, still lying flat on the floor. "I told her... everything she asked. It hurt too much."
"Don't play dumb with me, fool," Dag'rema hissed, all her anger now turned upon the Death Knight. "You're too careless with your thoughts. You may have served the Legion once, but a life of self-service has made you weak. I have worked for the Legion over fifty years now, and my devotion has been rewarded well. Do not place yourself above me, half-wit."

"Star-Pelt, are joo okay?" Ga'Crane asked without raising his head.
"You clearly have not done your homework, girl, otherwise you would know how do the stories like yours end. Warlocks a lot more powerful than you have perished - and you will not escape their destiny, because that's the way the world's made," Nathaniel sighed almost sympathetically, still not wanting to throw away his guise.

"It's okay. You're safe now." Lexa said as she continued to heal the orc. Illia walked out of the shadows in the sanctum. "That was an interesting fight. Should do it again sometime." She said as she walked down a hallway.

Vashadya, Lektraza
Star-Pelt's Sanctum
"You were tortured, I doubt any of us would have done any better in your shoes," Vashadya told Gurka reassuringly. Lektraza's gaze followed Nightbane as the worgen priestess ran away, that was, until she was lost from sight, "what is wrong with her?" she asked Star-Pelt.

"M... My face..." Gurka moaned, her wounds stinging with new intensity. "Can you fix it?"
"Ha!" Dag'rema scoffed mockingly. "You speak of Gul'dan? He survived his little escapade at the Tomb of Sargeras, despite his attempts to betray the Legion, and so I killed him myself, atop the Black Temple," she laughed bitterly. "No matter how desperately Azeroth fights for its survival, the Legion will be victorious. It is as inevitable as death. For that is what the Legion is. The universe cannot escape oblivion. I simply work to hasten its demise."

Lexa began to focus her spell on Gurkas face. "Of course." She said. Illia stopped when she started to notice all the books around her. "Really need to ask that ghost how he made this." She said as she began to sort threw the books.

"Most likely, if Ah 'ave enough time and resourses," Ga'Crane nodded, without a doubt.
"The Legion..."
Nathaniel laughed softly.
"My girl, the Legion has devoured countless worlds, and only Azeroth has managed to hinder its onslaught - not once, not twice. And even if it wins in the end, who says you will live to see it?
You are old, you are broken, you are on your own. Every ally you have will try to backstab you to get to your position, or possess your possessions, or whatever else. Your very body resents the magic you are using, and no matter how much lifeforce you devour, it will betray you."

Gurka exhaled calmly, trying to relax. "Thanks for com-coming to get me..." she whispered at last.
"It doesn't matter if I don't see the End," Dag'rema laughed again. "All that matters to me is that the End comes. For everything. That is what the Legion seeks, and that is what will happen. I only live to serve The Masters in bringing that about. I am merely a tool. If I die, that is acceptable, so long as it is in service to the Legion."

"Dat's what da friends are for," Ga'Crane smiled re-assuringly.
Nathaniel shook his head and laughed softly.
"You lie to yourself, my poor, deluded girl. You may tell yourself coutless times that only the End matters, but in your heart you will know there are other reasons. Family. Friends. The ones who had betrayed you. The ones who you seek to crush. The ones who you, deep inside, want to be with once again. You delight in bringing pain to others - but only because it slightly lifts the burden of pain you had come through."

Lexa nodded before returning to healing. Illia heard something and looked over to see a faint outline of Nightbane. "Hello pup." She said opening one book and flipping threw the pages before setting it back. "What are you hiding from now?" She asked as she grabbed another book.

Vashadya, Lektraza
Star-Pelt's Sanctum
Vashadya nodded approvingly at Ga'crane's and Lexa's handiwork, "look's like you two will have her fixed up in no time, I better make sure Aldos is alright as well," she commented, going to kneel down beside the blood elf. Lektraza sighed, and walked along the sanctum investigating, seeing as she had nothing better to do.

Gurka smiled at Ga'Crane, and immediately hissed with pain as her wounds opened up again.
"You give me too much credit, Death Knight," Dag'rema laughed. "I have not been fully orc for some time now. You are correct in assessing that I still have an attachment to my sister, but that is only in my desire to make her suffer. Family? I killed my family. Friends? I never had any friends. Only the End matters. Only the End has any real significance. It is inevitable. Deep down inside, I don't want to be with my family. Deep down inside I'm not some hurt girl striking out at her tormentors. There is nothing deep down inside me. Deep down inside, I am already dead, just as you are."

Pyro sat down beside Vashadya and nudged aldos again. "First time someone has that to me like that." She said snapping the book shut. "What did I do to you?" She asked sitting down on a pile of books.
