A sniper shot nearly took Lak'tuk's head off and she fell further back into hiding after shooing a blast of flame in the direction the shot had came from. Mekthorg took the shot in the shoulder, falling back behind cover of his own.
Curho merely laughed at the massive number of ethereals and flipped through his spellbook. He yelled out a series of demonic words and the ground underneath the ethereals turned black with shaodws. Hands reached up out of the darkness and grabbed the ethreals, pulling them down into the darkness. Curho then turned his attention back to maintaining the demonic portal, demons as large as felguards now emerging from it.

Flamehowl thanked Star-Pelt and applied the bandage, taking a drink. "She was saying how it was Nghtbane's fault that Blackbite died, because Dag'rema wanted to protect Blackbite," he said, loading sarcasm on the last words.

"Sorry," he said, dropping to a whisper. "Dag'rema only wanted Blackbite there to protect her, but Blackbite left because it wasn't the right environment to raise a child in. At least according to her."
