Markoth shook his head. "This one advocated leaving Shadow tainted ones alive. This simply cannot be," he replied stepping over Khazran toward Skreel. "Only those of the Shadow who dedicate themselves to the Light can truly be free of the taint."
Khazran pushed himself slowly off the ground and leaned up against a tree, before sliding back down until he was sitting with his back to the large tree.

Flamehowl shook his head and sat back down, taking his wine from a bartender and taking a small sip.

"Netherstorm would probably be the best option," Lak'tuk agreed. "Whatever remains of Tempest Keep and the Manaforges could be repurposed to help us summon demons to bolester our ranks, and even if everything has been stripped back down to bare earth the concentration of mana latent in the area should still provide an excellent catalyst for the summoning of more demons."
Curho grinned, nodding approvingly at his daughter.

Skreel looked away as Urdish had asked, and felt an unprompted surge of pride, a rarely-felt emotion, at the how far the younger priest had come over the years. He still remembered back when Urdish had hated the living, and yet here he was now, healing a a dwarf despite the intense physical pain that the Light caused them.
He wished he had time to voice his approval, but there was still the matter of the Inquisitor.
"If we must fight, then there is no getting around that fact," he replied to the human. "I give you one more chance to leave us be, and if you refuse again I will kill you."
Taelani lay down, pulled the covers over herself, and tried to relax. She wasn't tired--it was still night, after all--but she knew sleep would be good for her.

Themra breathed a sigh of relief as the ship didn't explode upon launch. Leaning back against the wooden crate, she decided to get the sleep that she had missed while watching Koren.
