Unfortunately, he could not help but lean closer to her for that, which widened the gunman's grin further. The latter spoke again - "Okay, I got it. You're his friend and you're a girl, while you're her friend and you're a boy - and that's it, no more."
"I'm probably older than your grand-parents," - replied Aeglos.

"And I'm a ranger," - said Aeglos proudly, pressing his fist against his leather-clad chest, glad to change the subject. Robert smiled approvingly - "I guess I would be a ranger too, if I was an elf like you. But I'm a human, so that's why you could call me a gunman - there's something in the firearms that I prefer over the bow."
