"It's really up to you," Gurka shrugged. "You're officially given the name by the elders of your clan in a big ceremony, so, let's say if you had inherited a name from your father and they pulled you aside to let you know that they were considering giving you a different one, you'd be able to tell them if you'd prefer to keep your father's name. Take Doomhammer or Garrosh Hellscream, for instance. Even if they'd earned a really cool name in battle, they might not want to change it, because of how famous the Doomhammer and Hellscream names are. It might actually be seen as disrespectful to cast aside the name that your father and grandfather and great-grandfather bore, but again, it's really up to you."

Vagrin
Somewhere near Aerie Peak
"We were unable to track down exactly what the poison is created from or even what it is, though we know for sure it targets the victim's nervous system, the victim's mind and also their digestive system, your friend here was very lucky to survive it, this is the fifth case of it this week, all the others who were poisoned are either dead or in a vegetative state," the nurse said in perfect common, rather surprising for a dwarf.
Vashadya
The Barrens
"So second names must be really important in your people's society," Vashadya thought out loud. "So what about your parents? Are they shamans too?" she asked.

Vagrin lay back down momentarily, trying to muster his strength before he got up properly. The nurse nodded, before leaving the room again.

"Yeah, seconds names are pretty important," Gurka nodded. "I mean, Thrall doesn't have one, and his parents didn't have them, and, like, Drek'thar didn't have one..." she shrugged. "But it certainly doesn't hurt your status in your clan. And no, my parents aren't shaman. It's not really all that unusual for a shaman to be born from people who aren't shaman. You can't really predict who is going to have the gift."

Vashadya smiled, "well your parents must be happy that you have the gift, I would assume it would be somewhat of an honour to be able to communicate with the elements," she said. "The girl, Zezi she's called right? The elements seem to be close to her," the priestess added, being more or less familiar with the subject from what she had learnt from both foreigners and on her travels.

"Yeah, they're glad that I was born a shaman," Gurka smiled. "But they really want to see me put it to use. They never say anything, but I can tell that they have really high expectations. That's why it's so important for me to earn a name for myself."

"Okay let's. It is getting rather late anyhow and it might be an idea to find a place to eat dinner at," Amora replied, rising to her feet.
Vashadya
The Barrens
"Well I suppose if we succeed in tracking down that warlock Dag'rema that would be grounds for a second name, from what I have heard of her she was extremely powerful," Vashadya said. "My parents have high expectations of me too, though I doubt I will ever be able to fulfill them," she told the orc.

Pyrewood
Amora lead the way out of the park, once she could be sure the stranger was out of earshot she spoke, "I wonder what he was doing there," she thought aloud, pondering over the appearance of the mysterious stranger in the park. "If he follows us then we will know something is up," she added, glancing over her shoulder suspiciously, before turning back to the task at hand; finding a place to eat.

"Yeah, that's what I figure," Gurka nodded. "I like the sound of 'Gurka Witchkiller,'" she grinned. "But I'm sorry about your parents. I'm sure they're not all that disappointed in you," she added, trying to console the elf.

"There are plenty of inns around here so there should be no problem in getting a place to stay, not to mention there are also numerous taverns, bakeries and other places to eat at," Amora replied as they walked along the street. "If you see any place you fancy, whether it is for eating at or spending the night at just say," she added.

"Ah," Vremsaid, nodding. Of course, it all made perfect sense. An apothicary that served the Banshee Queen's memory, the gasseous mixture back at the cave. "You seek to recreate it and unleash it upon the living like it should have been from the start." The hunter nodded. "Both an intriguing and bold plan."

Character:
Marisa "Talah" Blackswallow
Location: Quel'thalas
Description:
Marisa Blackswallow - or Talah as she is known to most of Azeroth - is a female blood elf rogue and assassin, both beautiful and deadly. After loosing both her parents she fled from teh company of other blood elves and was taken in by Ravenholdt. After having learned all she could she broke ties with the organization of assassins and set out on her own - claiming an abandoned farmhouse in Silverpine Forest as her own.
When the Forsaken-Worgen conflict was brought to the forest after the Cataclysm, she gathered up her possessions and wealth and moved to a remote part of Quel'thalas, although she chose to remain apart from blood elven society for the most part - possibly due to her continued use of fel magic despite the Sunwell's restoration. Still, she remains one of the best at what she does.
Talah placed a hand on the large fel crystal she kept in the main room of her estate - a fairly large complex that she had all to herself. She smiled as she felt the comforting energies of demonic magic course through her, but her attention was quickly puled away from the feeling of warmth as she heard something coming up behind her.
She spun around, hurling a knife at the intruder and severing the neck of a ghoul that had snuck into her home. It fell dead to the floor, prompting a cringe from the assassin. Now she had another mess to clean up. Something in the hand of the corpse caught her eye, though, and she walked over to the body and knelt down, picking up a peice of parchmetn clenched in its grip.
She read the letter and began to smile.
