Thurdan sat by the water in the Valley of Heroes and admired the reflection of stars on the water, as much as his home was underground he had always been fascinated with the cosmos.

"Thrall? You're not Thrall. DON'T LIE TO ME!" Mortis yelled at the figure on the horse as he drew the vial from behind his back and threw it at the figure. 'BURN IN YOUR LIES. GLORY TO SYLVANAS!" he cackled as he whipped Burdas and the carriage began to move forward.

"No, I don't believe that," Taelani answered, grim determination on her face. "While I have certainly dealt with many trials in my life, never do I think that the Goddess abandoned me. Lady Whisperwind abandoned me. My people abandoned me, but the blessed Mother Moon would never abandon her faithful..." she nodded slowly. A small part of her wondered how much she believed her words, but the rest of her quickly rebuked that thought, and she looked back up at the priest with a hardened expression on her face.

She began to relax when she was sure that she was completely out of danger. She then took the potion from Ga and drank some of it. "EW....it tastes like smelly feet mixed with skunk and old cheese." She said hardly even able to stand the small amount that she had swallowed.

"Zezi, do joo wanna smell like dat joorself? If not, joo'd bettah drink it - Ah'll give joo a candy once joo'r done." - said the potion doc confidently, before his gaze fell upon Nightbane.

"Can Ah have dat? Thanks," - said Ga'Crane, without waiting for a response and taking the snake from Nightbane. - "Hm-m-m... Fangs left intact, traces of worgen saliva, dirt..." - he muttered, completely absorbed by the work, slowly yet determinedly dissecting the corpse, applying strange-looking dust to it, occasionally mumbling something in Old Zandali.

Character: Thragg Earthbreaker
Location: Southern Barrens

Thragg continued to search for any tracks the Dark Shaman might have left. There were some, but they were getting harder and harder to find, and were mixed with a variety of other tracks that split off in various directions. Either Thragg's quarry knew he was being followed and was trying to throw him off of his trail, or he wasn't working alone. Either way he had to be cautious not to lose sight of his goal.

Location: Eastern Plaguelands

Morec froze the vial and its contents solid with a single grip from an icy spell. "You dare question me!" he yelled back at the other Forsaken. "Feel the fury of the elements and excellent cuisine!"

The death knight took a fork out and threw it at the charging ettin. When that failed to do anything he froze the wheels and axels of the carrige solid, causing them to break almost instantly. Morec laughed as he watched the ettin struggle to continue to move the transport.

Vrem heard yelling to the north and, against his better judgement, rode off to see what it might be.

"Very well," Taelani nodded, moving over to the window and carefully opening the shutters, letting the moonlight in. She smiled nostalgiacly as she conjured up a small bit of lunar magic, and pulled her dagger out of her boot before setting it aflame in the moonlight. "It's been years since I've been able to do this freely. If people knew I was a priestess, that's one more thing that could lead them to suspect me. A hundred thousand gold can turn even your closest friends into enemies. Everyone has problems that money can fix."

Skreel observed the mages quietly, taking note of their technique and method. While he was a priest of the Shadow through and through, he had a passing interest in all of the other magics that permeated the world. In a way, they were all tied together.

Location: Sea

Edward's crew was just finishing getting ready to reply, and he had his signalman send the other ship a brief "Affirmative." before sailing into position for the ambush.

A considerable amount of time later, somewhere in the Great Sea a cry came from the top of the main mast of a black war galleon.

"Ship sighted!"

When Nicholas heard his sailor yelling he was already standing on the bow. Although he was perfectly motionless, on the inside he was boiling with impatience. In one smooth movement the buccaneer took out his spyglass and peered into the distance.

"One... two... three, four and five. So punctual - one wouldn't expect that from the orcs, eh?" - he uttered, his speciesist joke earning a round of smirks. - "Arm the ballistas! Fly our flag! Set full sail!"

She looked at the fowl tasting stuff once more and then she tilted her head back and poured it down her throat. "Bleh!" She said as her head snapped back up and a look of utter disgust came to her face.

The "Bleh!" tore Ga away from the snake. The potion doc turned around, now facing Zezi and smiled - "Dat a girl. Ah know it tastes awful, maybe, dis will help?" - and, after taking it out and unwrapping it, gave Zezi a honey-covered baked apple on a stick - "Joo hold da stick, joo bite da apple."

Her eye's opened wide. "an apple." She said in awe as she took it. "I've only had one, and that was that one time for wintersvale when mommy was able to scrounge up a small amount of money to buy it." she took a bite and let out a mhmmh as she slowly chew.

"Ah'll 'ave a snake toof necklace," Zuri piped up happily, tilting her head and smiling at Ga. "Look nice wif all ma udda tings 'ere," she grinned, motioning to her jewels and trinkets. Another menento to add to her endless treasurey of adventures is always a good thing.

"Ah knew dat dese won't go waste." - grinned Ga'Crane widely, winking at Zuri. He quickly set up a small fire, took out a thick leather glove, a needle, a thread and two vials - with black and white liquids. A tooth would get properly soaked in paint, then dried over the fire with Ga holding it with a gloved hand so as not to burn himself, then pierced and placed on the thread.

Fifteen minutes later, Ga handed the still warm necklace to Zuri - "Here joo go, charmin'. Lil' Zez doesn't know what she's missin'."

Skreel nodded his silent thanks to the mages and stepped through the portal, arriving instantaneously in the Redridge mountains. The difference in temperature was staggering, and it felt as if a gust of hot air had just blown into his face.

"So... I've told you about me..." Taelani shrugged. "What about you? You're the only human Shadow priest I've ever seen. I thought that cult was undead-exclusive..." she asked.

"I like it," Gurka smiled, gesturing to the necklace. "It's pretty..." she paused, looking down for a moment. "Y'know, I don't think we were ever properly introduced. I met Thragg and Ga'crane, and Zezi, of course, but I don't think I ever met you. I'm Gurka," she smiled, holding out her hand.

Edward had his ship well concealed behind the island. Barring a supernatural intervention, which wasn't entirely out of the question, there was no way the Horde could see this trap coming.

"Dat's beautifoo!" Zuri exclaimed, gingerly taking the necklace and placing it around her neck. She brought her fingers to the points of the teeth, poking them lightly with a smile. "Tank yah," Zuri said, grinning at Ga. She looked down at her chest again, admiring the necklace for a few more seconds before turning to the orc.

"Ah be Zuri'na," she smiled, doing an awkward kind of curtsey. "An' yah be?"

Ashiena sighed and glanced up at the sky. They really ought to get moving again, instead of sitting here chatting. She reached over and put her arm across Ecko, leaning onto the large dinosaur and closing her eyes. The faster they got to the slave handler, the faster she could help those poor children that served under him.

Daenak was seated in the dirt, wrestling with Marvolio. He glanced at his sister; he could practically read her thoughts, and he agreed with her. "We gunna go soon?" he asked the group, deciding there was enough hostility between them and Ashi for her to ask.

Tahni groaned as she woke up, still hazy from her drinks the night before. She noticed immediately that she was in a bed, with covers tightly wrapped around her. The druid took a deep breath and arched her back in a stretch, closing her eyes for a few more minutes.

K'ode, Zane & Ganjaru
Tanaris

"Thanks fo' da info," Zane nodded, handing the goblin some cash discretely before heading back out of the alley. He arrived back at the inn, pulling the papers out of his pocket and shoving them towards Ganjaru & K'ode. The druid and shaman took the papers, studying them curiously, despite the fact that Ganjaru could not read at all.

"Found dem. She be in da Barrens, he be a leetle mo' farda den dat. If we move now we be able to catch up ta 'er, 'specially since da source says dat she got no mount. An' we do," Zane said, smiling devilishly.

Ganjaru's jaw was set. "So deeses eet den jah? Go an' finem an' brinem ba' wif us. Da $%^&a gun' ge' wha' 'e deserf," he said darkly. "Bout mah*!@# time dis be, hadeet comin' fo' lon' time..."

Zane nodded. "Dis is it. Start packin', we leave asap."

The three nodded and moved out, beginning to gather their mounts and supplies.
