"Whatevah dat was, dat was a long time ago. Ah will talk to him, Ah think Ah can solve it all out once we have freed dem. So, Zez, stop worrying about dat for now, dat won't do any good for joo."

She took the shell and gently brought it to her ear. She listened carefully. "It....sounds....like..." She said listening as carefully as she could. "Like water?" She pulled it from her ear and stuck her finger inside and felt nothing. "How can there be water sounds in there if there isn't any water?"

"Well, Ah don't know for sure. Dese things can be found in many numbers along da sea-shore - joo know what dat means, right? - and dey say dat a small part of da spirit of da sea is living inside each of dem. Sounds great to me, do joo like it?"
'
I wonder, how will she react to the theory that the shell is merely magnifying the sound of her own blood coursing through her? Not that I knew that for sure, anyways...

"Wow! a spirit be livin in here?" She said looking inside the tiny shell. "Mommy always said dat da spirits was special, but I never knew much about dem. What are dey like? Do dey like to eat sandwiches and meat and other tasty things?" She asked searching inside the shell for the sea spirit.

"Joo won't see him dere. Da spirits don't have a body, Zez, dey be nowhere and everywhere at da same time. And while dey do not actually need to eat, Ah am sure dat dey will appreciate joor will to share with dem.
Joo will not hear da spirits unless dey want joo to, and even den joo have to special - joo have to possess a heart of a shaman. Ah'm not a shaman meself, dat's what mah parents told me, and deir parents told dem and so on.
Ah fink joo really should talk to elder Thragg dere. Ah see dat joo are a special girl, maybe he will see somethin' more? Perhaps, he will even see dat joo can become a great shaman, eh?" - smiled Ga'Crane encouragingly.

Character: Skreel
Location: Stratholme
"Indeed," Skreel chuckled. "I don't suppose you know any mages that you trust? If not, we may have to pull some political strings to get one that will keep his mouth shut."
Character: Gurka
Location: Southern Barrens
"Glad you see it that way," Gurka smiled back at the shaman. "I love my people, but some of us can sure be stubborn when it comes to accepting help from others."
Character: Taelani
Location: Stormwind
"Yes," Taelani answered, her teeth clenching involuntarily. "Something terrible did happen. I'll spare you the details, but there were at least two other women imprisoned with me, and neither one survived. We were held for two weeks before Alliance troops found us, and in the end I was left with two permenent reminders of what happened..." she paused, pulling up her skirt and revealing the skin of her leg. "These..." she nodded, gesturing to one of dozens of small scars. Most of them were rounded and to a cursory inspection would seem fairly innocent, but Taelani pulled the back of the collar of her dress down slightly, revealing more scars down in the spots she couldn't reach. "Those used to look like these..." she nodded, rubbing the scars. In the spots where she couldn't reach, it was obvious that the scars had come from a brand in the shape of a Horde symbol.
She paused again, readjusting her clothes and looking down bitterly at the ground. "The other thing they left me to remember them by was my half-orc son..." she hissed quietly. There were no tears in her eyes. She had cried them all out over the years. Instead, her heart ached, and her fists were clenched tight enough for her nails to draw blood. "I... I abandoned him as an infant. I couldn't kill him myself, and so I left him helpless in the forest. He didn't die though... Not until about 17 years ago, at least..."

"Dere's one thin' Ah know for sure - each and everyone of us has a potential for somethin' outstandin', somethin' great, da trick is to find joor place in da world. Take me, for example - dere are many trolls strongah den me, and many trolls smartah den me, Ah know dat and Ah am not ashamed of it, and do joo know why? Because Ah have somethin' dat dey don't - Ah am a potion doc, and a good one, Ah can assure joo. When da shamans need a sapta to bettah understand da spirits, who do dey call? Me. When da medics need to restore lost blood of dere patients, what do dey need? Mah concoctions. When da warriors need to do somethin' beyond dere physical capabilities, who is it dat's gonna make dere muscles ten times strongah? Yep, it's me again.
Ah have found mah place, Zezi, and Ah'm really happy about it. And Ah know dat joo will find joor place once, too, and the fastah joo start lookin', da bettah. So, why don't joo start right now?"
'
Whoa, ain't I a talker. Man, I need something to drink. Well, they call me Modest Ga for a reason, he-he-he.

Clark Kent
Thragg Earthbreaker. He even has a real super-villain -
Lex Luthor
a dark shaman to hunt down and free da world from him! And once we free joor parents, we will surely join him in his quest!"

Damn, I need to turn off my Badass Boast when I speak to little girls...And it isn't like I'm not liking this, it's just kinda unfair.

"Joo know what would be heroic, Zez, if joo say so? Dat would be training joo to da point of me thinkin' dat

Character: Skreel
Location: Stratholme
"Mmm..." Skreel nodded, understanding the problem. "Well, we do not have many options at present."
Character: Taelani
Location: Stormwind
"Not quite..." Taelani answered. "I did my best to cope after that... Ended up wandering all ove the world in a stupid quest to try and find my son. I thought that if I could learn to love him, I could come to terms with what happened. Well, he turned up dead, and I had nowhere else to go... No reason to keep on living..." she paused, shrugging slightly. "So I went South with some other people I had run into, and ended up fighting in the Battle of Orgrimmar, fifteen years ago. During that time, I met a Night Elf druidess. She really helped me feel better. She'd had an ear cut off by the orcs, and we helped eachother recover. I... loved her..." she stopped, tearing up slightly.
"Well, we went up to Ashenvale, and heard that Night Elf women were disappearing. The Sentinels in Astranaar ended up capturing a troll who confessed that his tribe was behind the abductions. That was too much for me. What if the same thing that happened to me was happening to my poor sisters? So Lyriel and I put together a raiding party to go free them if possible and stop the tribe from carrying out anymore kidnappings. We almost succeeded, but they ended up getting reinforcements from somewhere, and we lost. Lyriel was killed, and I barely escaped.
"Afterwards, High Priestess Whisperwind expelled me from the order... not to my
face
of course, but with a simple letter..." Taelani growled resentfully. "I guess she just wanted the little issue of the troll tribe to go away and not bother her... So yeah, the trolls put a huge bounty on my being captured...
alive
, and there's no telling what will happen to me if they succeed. So I had to change my name and move here or risk being captured and taken back to them. I've managed to stay hidden for more than fifteen years now," she paused, sighing and holding her face in her palms. "But I guess nothing lasts forever."
