"While we were fighting Dag'rema, Nightbane... well. I guess she felt that she needed the extra power, the extra boost that it would give to be able to fight the warlock. Our only problem was that part of her
mother's
memory remained." He added extra emphasis on the word 'mother,' spitting it disdainfully.
"The memory convinced her that none of her friends cared, that the scythe was the only way to power, and proceeded to corrupt her. In the end, I managed to get the scythe away from her, but... it did something. Something dark. She attacked and almost killed a few of us, then fled. From what we've seen, she's adopted some pups and refuses to have anything further to do with us. Anyone who's tried to talk to her recently has been attacked and mauled."

"Phillip and Snowmane are in Gilneas," Gurka replied, thinking a moment. She didn't see any need to mention what had happened with her. "Beyond that, I guess there's not much to tell," she stopped. In truth, there was quite a lot to tell, but she felt that in this case, it would be better to simply stick to the present.
