Avemthar laughed, "hmm, looks like a tram is just arriving now, we'll have to wait for everyone to get off before we can get on I guess," he said, seeing that the tram that was coming in was rather packed.

"If he's gonna try one we should try one too." She said grabbing avemthar's hand and bringing him over to the gnome selling the rat kabob's. "Two please." She said. The gnome quickly handed her them and she took one and handed it to Avemthar. "Ready? on the count of three we both eat it." She said smiling.

Avemthar grinned, having already started on his so as to beat the others by eating his rat first. "Not bad," he said between mouthfuls. "Oh.. this isn't chicken..." he continued, as if disappointed. "C'mon," he added, nudging Silencia, "it's just meat," he said, having found that the rat was not actually that bad, considering it had been cooked expertly by a gnome who spent his life catching rats and turning them into kebabs. "Now it's time to spear me a hydra!" he added, holding the kebab stick as if it was a massive spear.
The gnome with the kebabs watched them with one eyebrow raised, "these foreigners are crazy," he said, before clobbering a rat over the head with a large wooden mallet. Suddenly Avemthar did not feel so good about his meal and he turned very pale.

Lektri sighed and began eating, he could see Yondra watching him. "Why so sad little gnomie? Tonight you will be fine and tomorrow we shall see, I might even be nice and give you the fun treatment rather than the painful one," she said to him, giggling. Either way Lektri did not like the sound of it and he wanted simply to escape.

She giggled. Then she took her Kabob and ate it. "Mhmmmm!" She said as she finished it. "Taste's like wild dragonhawk." she smiled at him. "Not liking it much anymore?" She asked leaning in and examining him closely with a grin.

"Not when the rat was killed like that," said Avemthar, turning away while the gnome scraped the crushed rat off the filthy ground using a rusty sheet of metal. The rat made sickening crunching sounds while this happened and its organs began to spill out where it's broken bones had broken it's skin. Usually he was not too badly disgusted when something died, but the way the dead rat was treated, at least he hoped it was dead, and the fact he had eaten it was bad enough.

Lektri pretended to straighten his robes, "I know," he muttered while his face was aimed down. He hoped Barell would understand that he already knew what Yondra was, he assumed Barell must have guessed at what she was from the evidence that lay in front of them.

," Lektri said sarcastically. Yondra cracked her whip subconsciously, biting her lip in ecstasy for a moment, before looking aorund. "Oh excuse me," she said in apology, "I just can't wait until tomorrow," although it was clear she had only said that for the benefit of Barell and Lektri.

His underlings remained silent - they were relatively new in the ranks of the organisation and had yet to deserve a right to bear names and speak. The leader, on the other hand, had already proven himself quite useful - and therefore was given an alias Shag'Kavan.
"Our target will not remain there for an eternity - we can and will wait," - he added, taking out a small crossbow to once again feel its outlines lying in his grasp. His men were armed with similar crossbows - and each of them held a tranquilizing bolt with enough narcotic to calm down an enraged grizzly bear.
