With those few words, Lak'tuk could almost feel her world, which she had thought finally been rebuilt, crash down around her again.
"It wasn't with the others?" she said. "Where is it!"

"With that insufferable arson," Khaz growled. "I got his memories, but he escaped with the soul fragment."

"Do you have any idea where he went?" Lak'tuk asked Khaz. "Someplace where we could corner and kill him?"

"Darnassus," Khaz replied. "I left a trace on his mind, where the memories used to be. It's feasible that we could ambush him there, but the druids would sense the taint from miles off." He shook his head. "No, no. He's going to be tracking me. Him and that troll. If we set this up right, we'll win. Game, set and match."

"Troll?" Lak'tuk asked. "The one that did this to me?" She held up her Feliron hand, and pointed to her eye. If it was that bastard she would have to thank him for helping unlock her potential, and the best way to thank someone like him would be to pour burning acid down their throat.

"I believe so, though he looks like someone has been making him train for twenty seven hours a day," Khaz replied. "He's more powerful, but at the same time, more arrogant. Something that could be used against him."

Lak'tuk nodded, then sat back down on the edge of her stone-slab of a bed. "The question is then; how do we use that against him? And when would be best to strike?"

"Simple," Khaz grinned. He reached into his coat and pulled out a pocket watch, attached to a chain. "When I hold this, and get injured, a negative field will appear around me, and a cloaking field as well. Even better, organic matter, which has been stored in an extradimensional, will explode, making others think I died. Then, I reappear. And strike."
"As for the best time..." he frowned, stroking his chin. "It depends on how quickly they realize I took his memories and the void crystals, then it depends even further on how quickly they think they can track me."

Winston Wolf/ John Soloman
Ashenvale
Winston kept composed, treating the battle like a practice session. He waited for a slight hint of fatigue in Solomans attacks and he got it. Winston used his now free shield arm and grabbed John's wrist as he thrust it forward, he then thrust his sword directly towards John's torso. Soloman tried to wrestle free but now was extremely winded now and couldent.
There was only one thing John could do was make a blow miss a vital organ as he used his dagger and pushed the attack just to the side of his stomach. "
Impossible, how is he this good? Has he been training in the woods all these years?
" John thought as doubt started to fill his mind.

"Then it would be best to wait here," Lak'tuk assumed. "Rest up and be at our prime when they have to fight there way in here. How many companions are with the troll this time?"

"Two," Khaz replied. "Possible three. The priestess, arson and shaman. Also," he said, "I'd like you to ambush them, if possible. I'll lead them into the right place, and you strike. Your power should be enough for them."

"Excellent."
Khaz paced to a pedestal where his scrying orb was set. "They might not find us for a few days, but if all goes according to plan, the Mistress will be alive and well within the next few weeks."

"Perfect," Lak'tuk said, picking up Dag'rema's spellbook. She wondered if she could also ressurect her father in this fashion, but given the time, preperation, and sheer effort this one spell would likely take it would probably prove too dangerous for her to try it. Besides, she knew her father would have preffered she ressurect Lady Dag'rema over him anyway.

Silvia
Booty Bay
Silvia stared at her new dress. She had... 'borrowed' it from a female deckhand. It was not revealing of her stomach, it did not show massive amounts of her cleavage, and didn't halt well above her knees...
It was the most proper dress she had ever worn, and she hated it. She wanted to tear it off and throw it to the waves.
But one look at her rapidly enlarging stomach made it clear she couldn't.
She sighed, horns had stopped trying to sprout on her forehead recently, and she had kept he normal two in check. He hair was cut, but messy from her stress. And one look at her hooves reminded her she needed a filing badly.

Character:
Marissa "Talah" Blackswallow
Location: Ashenvale Forest
Talah watched the battle from a distance, hidden amongst the fallen leaves and branches. This was too perfect, a battle to weaken her target before she moved in to claim her bounty - dead over alive. She began to poison her daggers and continued to bide her time.
Character:
Morec, House of Rivendare
/
Amanda the Shadowheart
Location: Stratholme, Plaugelands / Alterac Mountains
"It's obvious, isn't it? Do you actually remember walking or riding to every location you go to all the way? Or do you make some travels and then seem to just appear there? And when everything starts up, do you ever remember how you got to your starting location? And don't get me started on the breaks in action you must feel - sometimes for seconds, sometimes for days.
"And you three, you'd better not leave a scratch on my sword or, so help me, I will kick your assess to the moon!"
Amanda spurred her horse to quicken its pace, but continued to stay away from Clarence as much as possible.

Rottalon landed on her master's shoulder and dropped three hairs into his hand. The hunter looked at each. One was from a living horse, most likely of the Stromgarde Breed, the second was similar but deteriorated badly, clearly an undead warhorse. The final was a human hair, but deteriorated similarly to the second horse hair.
He dropped all three to the ground. "Ready yourselves," he called to The Damned, "the living and Betrayers of the Queen draw near." His undead began to prepare themselves for battle.
