Gurka turned toward the voice, a smiled breaking through her serious face. She let the cultist she had been chasing run away further into the cave and turned to Ga'Crane.
"I missed you too," she smiled, clipping her fist-blades onto her belt. "What have you been up to?"

Snowmane looked down at the girl, who'd finally gone quiet. She wasn't dead, but her sobs and screams had turned into quiet whimpering.
She took no pleasure in inflicting suffering on another, especially not a child. She wasn't like Kali. It truly hurt her to do this.
But she had to deal with that pain, just like all the other pain she endured here. Mistress got what she wanted, there was no way around that. Mistress wanted suffering.

"Very interesting," Malice grinned. "You hate her, don't you?"

"Looking for information," Gurka nodded. "I haven't forgotten about Snowmane. She was a comrade. If Phillip won't give up on her, I won't either," she paused, shaking her head for a moment. "I might not have been much help catching Elmwood, but I have experience hunting warlocks, and if that's what I can do to help, I'm all too happy to do so."

"Go on, Ga'Crane," she nodded, cracking her knuckles. "Go help Flamehowl, and I'll keep on the warlocks trail here."

Snowmane dropped the knife to the ground as the pup's lifeblood drained from her. "Will there be anything else, Mistress?"

"She took the woman I love.... whisked he away to some sort of sanctum; hidden away in another realm like a coward. She tortured and broke her, made her a pet." He muttered. "And is using her to kill... This woman... This woman I love is being used to do a coward's dirty work...." He glared at his tea. "I made a promise I would save her... And I fear I've failed..."
