Phillip sighed. "We're doing it." He told Ga'Crane.
'Snowmane...'
He spoke again.
'Listen to me, don't give in; don't break. You're strong and wise and powerful. Ga'Crane is going to try pulling you two out of there... and I'm going in.'
He stared at the image.
'I may not make it out... so I want you to know... I love you Snowmane... I honestly, truely, love you. And even if this doesn't work; I will never give up. I swear I will save you... if it is the last thing I do...'

' Ga'Crane sent, redirecting the flows around Phillip and mouthing, "On the count of three."

Tell you what? You remind me of someone.

Last time I saw her, she was oh not so tough, was she? She was pleading and sobbing for mercy.

"Two."
'
And then, according to my plan, we ripped her soul apart and put the shards into jars. That's funny, isn't it? And she was much, much worse than you.

Ga'Crane threw his head back as a shudder ran down his spine. He scooped far more energy at once than he had done before - and now he wrapped it around Phillip into a cocoon. A spindle, if you will. The apprentice brought his hands together and the spell went off.

Snowmane could hear Phillip's voice, and looked down at the ground, unsure what to say. After what Kalistra had said, and hearing this now, she felt emotionally exhausted. "

Kali was standing between the two stones, which flared up as the mortals tried their spell. She snarled in rage as it entered her sanctum for a few moments, then looped around the crystals....and she watched as one shattered and the circle of power holding in the elf exploded. "
Damn it no!
" She roared, reaching out a hand as the elf woman vanished.
The undead elf struck viciously, sending black energy coursing along the spell, trying to slaughter them all with one blow.

Phillip ripped the portal open; the runes to the binding circle. One shadow to another. The portal did its best to pull the two through. As single arcane blast struck out before he bled away, trying to deflect Kali's attack.
And he was through, bleeding into Kali's sanctum like a leak from the cieling. "What was that about not wanting to talk to me? I dare say, I'm insulted." Phillip smiled. "I'm actually a rather likable person."

Ga'Crane was anticipating this - no, he was
longing
for the moment someone tried using his own spellwork against him. He had come prepared. He had been training. And he was most certainly not going to fail.
The torrent began splitting into countless lesser threads, each redirected away from Gurka, Ga'Crane and the rest of their party. The apprentice was feeling like he was juggling a thousand burning torches at once - and he felt alive. He felt the Dark touching every nerve of his. He let out a triumphant laughter when Taelani appeared, almost simultaneously with a large boulder cracking in two from one of the threads he had been redirecting.

The barrier circle Phillip had appeared within prevented the ejection while it remained active. The battle mage pointed at it for the moment, relying on it to remain here. "Mortal? I've done more than you could ever hope to. I have braved undeath, broken the Lich Kings will, slain an aspect, fought the burning legion. raised myself into undeath a second time, defeated Dag'Rema, and returned to life."
He smiled. "And what have you done all this time, mortal?"

" Kali said simply and pointed behind him where Kor was standing. The Fel-Sworn grinned viciously, then shattered the circle, sundering it away from the Sanctum. "
Enjoy the Shadows, or go back to Azeroth; you'll never see Snowmane again..or you might; if you live, perhaps I'll train her to be my war hound and send her to kill you.
" Kali said offhand, the human gone from her attention.

"Snowmane?" Phillip asked worridly. He saw her; left while Taelani had been pulled free. "NO!" He screamed as he fell into the shadows.
He could have left; returned to Azeroth empty handed with no way of getting back. The shadows slowly curled around his mind.
"No..." He stated, magical armor covering him and pushing away the sadows. "I'm not leaving without her..." He told himself; magic flowing through him.

Snowmane sighed quietly and sat down in her circle, closing her eyes.
Taelani took a deep breath as she reappear on Azeroth, back in the Alterac Forest. She rubbed her forehead, barely able to think. Suddenly she remembered where she was, and quickly got to her feet, doing her best to limp away from the party that was hunting her.

Kali stepped up to the circle and looked in at Snowmane, the sanity steadily fading from her eyes. "
Well, they manged to take my meal. I guess you'll do for now, since the despair I can smell wafting off is so delicious.
" Kali said as she placed her hand on the side of the circle, and small thin tendrils of necromatic energy flowed towards Snowmane.

"Pardon me miss, but should you really be going already?" Lucas asked, looking at the elf woman who had just appeared. The massive 9 foot worgen towered over her. "They worked hard to bring you and the other back after all." The hunter grumbled, and looked over as Sirius approached, the thin lanky worgen Druid staring at the Elf in shock. "Lucas, she's a Priestess of Elune." He said, his eyes wide.

"What now?" Snowmane asked, shrugging half-heartedly. "If what you say is true, then you've already ruined my life. Driven me to the brink of despair. What else can you do to make it worse?"
"Oh don't worry about me," Taelani answered with a weary chuckle. "I have to help this girl get back to her father."

'Snowmane?'
Phillips mind repeated itself; echoing through the shadows like a bat's voice through a cave.
Nothing. There was nothing here. No signatures or anything. It was endless darkness.
"But it has to be magic..." He stated, wondering. Why didn't he feel shadow magic if that was what this was? It didn't make sense. He couldn't sense anything...
Unles... "The rules are different here?" He wondered.
But how would he understand them? How could he think in terms of these new rules? He pondered...

" Kali laughed as the tendrils began to entwine around the worgen; one sliding around her neck, others vanishing under her clothing. "
What you've reached is merely the start of despair; I'll bring you the bottom.
" She crooned as the tendrils started draining energy from her body into the undead elf.

"But Priestess, you are my Sister." Sirius said, his eyes worried as he looked up at Lucas, then over at the other group. "Please, come with us and speak to our leader, Dennis is a good man, he can help you." The druid said as Lucas nodded slowly. "And if your job is to get a child to her family, we can help with that as well."

Snowmane tensed up and grit her teeth as pain began to flood her senses. She was used to emotional pain, but physical pain was unfamiliar to her. "Stop..." she managed to groan.
"Ah, alright," Taelani answered hesitantly. Perhaps these worgen could offer her, Russell and Dawn some protection.

" Kali cooed, her voice sounding sweet as moaned and shuddered as the suffering of the worgen was fed into her. "

"Please Sister, follow us." Sirius said with a slight grin, knowing that showing his full mouth of teeth usually put off the other races. Lucas shuddered as he changed back into his human self, but was still as tall as the Elf. "I'm sure Hendricks will help you Priestess." Lucas rumbled as they headed towards where the worgen were gathered.

Kali sighed to herself and pulled the tendrils back. "
Blast.
" She sighed and shook her head, then waved a hand, making the shield around the circle vanish. She moved quickly, and clamped her hand on the back of Snowmane, creating black bands of power that wrapped around her arms, her mouth, and hobbled her feet.
"
Kor, bring her to her room...but she's not here to entertain you, remember that.
" Kali told the Fel-Sworn who nodded then grabbed the Worgen and carried her off towards the wing of the Sanctum where they kept the prisoners.
"
Welcome to your new home little Worgen, I hope you enjoy your stay.
" The Orc growled, laughter in his voice.

"I am Druid Leonard Sirius Cortland, and my quiet friend there is Lucas Karkov." Sirius answered, giving her a small bow. "Our leader is named Dennis Lobo Hendricks, and his mate Yuri Simon and their daughter Miranda Lupe Hendricks are here as well." The druid told her and looked at her out of the corner of his eye. "And what is your name Sister?" He asked.
