Flamehowl sat down next to Adalis. "Are you alright?" he asked.

Kishkumaen inspected the city around them. "We need to get to the pyrotechnics district," he said. "I'm sure there will be an explosives shop or twelve there."
Jonathon nodded and spoke a word, forming a map in their heads. Both started off towards the district.

The image of Khaz appeared in the background. It made no move to conceal itself, but made no threatening gestures either.

Talah desperately wanted to swim in the fel she could feel from the building, but knew that too much of it would kill her in seconds. Better to moderate herself and her intake of the energies. "A small ammount," she replied.

"What do you mean I'm not with you?" Morec said. "I"M RIGHT HERE!"
Amanda ignored the skank. "Very well, as long as they do not interfere," she replied to Urdish. "I have tried easing the spirits in order to have them pass on. That method failed. I have attempted to destroy them completely. That failed. There may be someone or something keeping them tethered here and restoring them when they perish, else I fear they are simply too tightly attached to this place."

The two which had their bows trained on Salja died, but the other two which had been paying attention to the ethereal managed to ressist the lightning enough to even remain concious. "Ya made a grave mistake," the leader said, he and his ally pulling out their bows and firing a Shango-blessed arrow at Gallo.

"You are correct. My appologies, Brother Urdish," she curtsied slightly. "As for how deep I have ventured..."
Morec quietly muttered to himself, "that's what she said."
" ...I'm afraid not very far. Beyond the surface the ghosts become more prevalent and much more violent. The furtherest I have ever made it is into the Relinquary before I was forced to fall back to the surface because of the spirits' constant attacks."

Both trolls died and Salja, still too wounded to move very far, began to fumble to open the pouch that contained the Shades.

"No," Amanda said, riding alongside Urdish. "Not a word. But many of them did seem to be in pain. Of course, that could be a remmenant of anything."

Salja's eyes squinted in the bright light, but that light sharply faded as she opened the pouch and released the Voodoo Shades. They flew around the cave quickly before settling on their targers, two of them went for the ethereal, surrounding him with their shadows and preventing them from moving, while the third did the same to Lak'tuk, who attempted to bat the Shade away with her remaining hand.
Salja slowly pulled out the arrow in her leg and shoulder and attempted to heal her wounds, only to find that she could not. She that she could not channel the healing power of nature. She stood slowly, staggering, and attempted to flee from the cave, although her movement was heavily slowed by the wound in her leg.

Talah walked up to the crystal, noting that it looked suspiciously like the one she had owned. She wondered if the green rat had done more than hear about the ransacking of her home. She placed her hands and forehead onto the crystal, draining the delicious, glorious, intoxicating fel magic into herself. It would have been easy for her too lose herself in it, but she was not about to let herself be drugged into a stupor.
After a minute or so of drinking in the burning energies and then letting the seething pain subside - repeating the process of course - she turned and looked for the goblin. "If you have a job for me I'd like to hear it now," she said, walking towards where she had heard the door. She had swiped a trio of steak knives from a waiter they passed while exiting the reseraunt and had hidden it in her clothing. She was not against using it either, especially if the goblin tried
aything
funny or even
slightly
obscene.

Lak'tuk was unable to speak as she choked on the shadows of the Shade surrounding him. One of the Shades circling Gallo spotted Khaz and left the ethereal to incapacitate him.
