"How are you doing?" Gurka asked sympathetically. She knew what it felt like to get a piece of your soul torn out. She looked up at Shade and sighed. "Just let me make sure Ga'Crane is okay first..."

Skreel sighed. "I'm afraid I cannot fix him..." he answered. "I cannot ressurrect the dead. Only the Val'kyr or the Lich King could do that..." he paused, already thinking of an idea. "Perhaps if we enslaved some..."

The ghoul hardly seemed effected by its missing head. It continued to grab at Gert; arms flailing maddly and grabbing at him. Two more exploded under the tauren, trying to drag him under the sand.
Snowmane's attack blasted several ghouls out of the sand; revealing they had no legs. Rather, long metal chains flowed from them and led back under the sand. The metal was animated by the same magics that kept Phillip, the trio, and the ghouls moving; necromancy.
Phillip shoved an ice lance through another ghoul, only for it to hide under the still rumbling sand. Something large seemed to be moving underneath them.

"Necromancy is illegal, in case you forgot," Skreel answered. "I am not a warlock or necromancer. I cannot fetch his soul..." he paused, shaking his head in frustration. "If I ascended, I might be able to craft a new body for him, but I could not force his soul to enter. For that we would need multiple skilled necromancers--Val'kyr level or above--and a warlock to capture his soul until we could put it in his body."

"I'm sorry," Taelani answered quietly. "I don't want you to feel bad. Please know that you've sincerely helped relieve a burden from me."

Nazevere grinned seductively and whispered several things into Koren's ear.

"I prefer my life doesn't involve dealing with rape victims. I arrest criminals. I don't like cleaning up their messes."

"Unfortunately; I think I might know." Phillip replied, keeping the ghouls at bay. Somehow, the chains were able to reform the bodies by collecting even the smallest pieces. "I fought something like this in the plaguelands once. I just wish I could remember how we killed it!"
A massive, decaying hand exploded from under the sand. It did not have a single layer of skin, but rather many flaps of it overlapping eachother. It grabbed at Blackhorn, several ghouls reaching for him out of the flaps covering the palm.
Two of the ghouls exploded from the ground, circling Snowmane and Phillip and bringing their chains closer and closer.

Vas'karaz took off without waiting, formed into a cloud of bats, and started towards the disturbance. He settled down near where the fighting was and watched intently.

The hand rose, revealing an equally massive arm covered in flaps of flash much like the hand. Three ghouls exploded from the hand's palm, their chains flowing beihim them as the slammed into the tauren.
Another hand exploded out, a counterpart to the first, and took several of Elandria's arrows. The flaps froze over, preventing the ghouls from leaving through them. The instead went lower and came out of the sand underneath the archer.
Gert's attempts were interfearing with the reforming of several ghouls. In realiation, four of the undead attacked him from behind, swinging wildly.
