Character: Edward the Tall
Location: Kezan
Edward lay in the captain's cabin of the East Wind, asleep in his favorite leather chair, wearing an expensive silk robe and his captain's hat draped over his face. Beside him, on a small wooden table--bolted to the floor in case of stormy sailing--sat a half-full bottle of rum. Meanwhile, on the lavishly furnished bad--though most of the silken sheets were now crumpled up on the floor--there lay two slumbering women, one wearing the Captain's white button-up undershirt, and the other wrapped up in his overcoat. It was very quite, though seagulls could be heard out the window.
The sun shined in through the porthole, right into Captain Cushing's face. He woke with a grunt, covering his eyes and grumbling quietly before standing and shutting the curtains.
"Sun's up, ladies," he called out, turning to the bed. "Get dressed an' git ready ta set sail. We only got a few hours 'til we need to leave..." he nodded, finding his trousers and pulling them on. "I thanks ya fer the company," he grinned, tipping his hat to the girls.
"The pleasure is ours, cap'n," one of the girls grinned back, handing the Captain his shirt. "Thankee for the drinks," the other added with a playful smile.
The Captain chuckled and nodded back, watching the two women leave. "Well then..." he grunted, buttoning up his overcoat and striding over to his charts. He looked over at his timetable and nodded thoughtfully, plotting a course for Azshara--to make a delivery to a Bloodsail contact in Bilgewater Harbor--and then on to an Alliance shipping lane from the elf lands to Azeroth.

Jeremy
Westfall
"Oh, I guess I was too far away when I shouted it out - Jeremy Wallace, you could contact with the Lawyers Guild Branch in Westfall if you want to know for sure." - said Jeremy, getting himself comfortable - "Ah, thanks for the wine, I don't want to sound rude, but I don't usually drink alcohol when working. Anyways.." - Jeremy carefully took out a parchment, folded in half two times and handed it over to the colonel, then continued talking - "I was instructed to tell you, that my client saved that Amora, and in return she gave my client something that is called the
Shell
, and your name and where to find you. Now my client wants to negotiate with you over purchasing what is drawn on that parchment."
The parchment held a one to one image of the verdant crystal.

Avemthar
Boat
Avemthar leaned over and kissed Silencia on the cheek, "you don't have to be sorry, it's fine... and who knows, you might be more enthusiastic about it even than me next time," he said softly, before lying back down properly, "I'm pretty tired anyway, so if you want to we could just sleep, unless you want to talk," he said, closing his eyes, but not falling asleep yet.
Colonel Velhawk
Westfall
The colonel nodded, "I am sorry, but for me to negotiate a sale on the item in particular I would prefer it if your client came here personally, he can bring someone along if he feels it necessary, but I will not organise a sale over an item of such value without him being here personally. Velhawk knew it was a risk if the mysterious client person brought a large group of people with him, as it was likely they would be armed, however if he did the entire company was fitted with the latest in rifles and so they would easily slaughter any threats, however if they in the worst case managed to overpower the guards just for long enough to get to Velhawk they would soon be disappointed. Velhawk nodded after a few seconds thought, "send word to your client that he is welcome to come here or arrange another location so that we can discuss a sale," he said eventually.

Lektri
Gnomeregan
Lektri looked around, everything was hazy and weird, he felt as if he had been hit by a steam tank moving at high speeds. The nurse forced him to lie down again, "you need your rest," she told him in a calm voice. Lektri mumbled something at her, however the words made no sense. The nurse sighed before waving a small piece of cloth under the mage's nose, he was soon calmed down by its sweet aroma.

Jeremy
Westfall
"Ah, my client has foreseen this, and gave me this."
Jeremy took out a map of Westfall with a cross on it.
"Here. A completely desolate field open to all winds. My client suggests that you two meet there, alone, and talk over everything. As my client said, not even the stealth masters of Darnassus could ambush anybody there, for there's only open ground. That means that if you notice other people you could immediately turn around and walk away and so could my client, in case you brought a squad with you. Sounds acceptable?"

"I'm tired too." She said still not feeling any better about how she felt she was letting him down. "Let's just sleep." She said closing her eye's and hoping her dreams would comfort her.

Colonel Velhawk
Westfall
Velhawk nodded, "I will meet him there then," he agreed, he knew it was risky, but he had little other choice, and at least that way if he did die his men would survive. He nodded to his second-in-command, "your in charge while I am away," he said to her. The woman saluted, Velhawk smiled slightly, at least he knew is men were in good hands. "I will fetch my horse, you can tell your client I should be there in half an hour," Velhawk said, "you are free to leave."
Avemthar
Boat
Avemthar felt bad at having made Silencia feel so unhappy, he hoped she would be better by morning, "apparently if the winds are like they are now we should reach Stormwind some time in the morning or afternoon tomorrow," he mumbled as he slowly dozed off.

Silencia
Boat
A few hours later silencia awoke with a start. She first looked around as the room came into focus and so did herself. Then she looked over at Avemthar and gave a sigh of relief. He was okay. She laid back down and thought about her terrible dream. She cringed when she reached the part where the invisible hands had torn out Avemthar's heart and made her eat it. She gave a shiver as she remembered all of it, including the countless times blood splattered against her face from those she loved.

Avemthar
Boat
Avemthar slept mostly soundly, his dream had started off well, however in the end the people he had been invisibly following in it were all dying. Something horrible was slowly phasing into existance, however it was not going well, it was as if someone was trying to stop it. Then all of a sudden everything went dark. He woke up sweating and wide-eyed, wondering what had happened to the people he had seen in the dream and if any of them had survived. He calmed down and lay back when he realized it was only a dream, yet instinctively he felt as if it had actually happened or that it would happen. He closed his eyes and tried to force himself back into sleep, he hoped he had not disturbed Silencia.

Westfall
"Good bye, Colonel." - said Jeremy, bowed and went away. He was feeling relieved - the job was not that hard, and the pay was handsome.
Nicholas
Westfall
A quarter of hour later Nicholas was standing in the designated place, absent-mindedly toying with a medallion hanging from his neck - a very expensive artifact that would instantly bring him back to his chambers aboard the
Executioner
in case of danger. The drawback was that the medallion could only be used once per week, so Nick hated to waste it.
The buccaneer was dressed in a black longcoat, beneath which was lightweight ringmail armor. Instead of his favourite seven-feathered admiral hat he put on a more common wide-brimmed one that only left his beard to be seen - two thick black plaits. On his left side was hanging an enchanted boarding sabre, and on his right his favourite .50
Deadwind Buzzard
.
Just as Jeremy told Velhawk, Nicholas was alone.

Silencia
Boat
She stayed awake, unable to go back to sleep after the nightmare. She saw Avemthar awake and watched him quickly go back to sleep. She continued to watch him for awhile. Then she scooted closer and rolled over to face him better. Then she whispered in his ear "It's okay. I'm here." she hoped that that would help if he had any residual nightmares for now. She then cuddled up with him again and lay her head on his shoulder and closed her eye's hoping to fall asleep again. However sleep was slow in coming.

Colonel Velhawk
Westfall
The colonel sighed as he reached the edge of the field, he too was prepared for a fight. He dismounted his horse, knowing the creature was disciplined enough to come to his aid if need be. He wore a large greatcoat like his men wore, a strong titansteel sabre was at one hip, a small crystal like the one on the piece of paper was embedded in its hilt.
On his back he carried a large long-rifle, in the two holsters at his sides were two Bolt Revolvers, lethal weapons manufactured by a joint gnome-goblin effort. They were fast, deadly accurate, packed a punch and at the same time he had fitted them with exploding bullets. The bullets were designed to explode when they embedded inside the target, causing extra damage. Other than that Velhawk was unarmed with exception of his unfixed froststeel bayonet which hung in its pouch by the side opposite where his sabre hung. All his weapons were on display to show he meant business, but at the same time was comfortable with them in plain sight, so that the man he was supposed to meet would know if he meant to draw them. The revolvers however were hidden out of sight, so that Nicholas would not know about them at first.
Velhawk hoped it would go peacefully, however he was unsure. He walked casually towards Nicholas in the field, not making any move to draw any of his weapons, he walked with his hands placed at his sides. Special lightweight was hidden beneath his simple cloth uniform, the only truly unprotected place was his head, on it he simply wore the tall hat that his company and a few others were known for. Two long feathers, one blue and one red stuck out of it. "Greetings," he said in an emotionless tone to the man he was facing now, "I am Colonel Velhawk as you are no doubt well-aware of, and I apologies for coming armed, a mixture of tradition and caution I suppose," he continued, walking up so that he was a small distance away from Nicholas.

Nicholas
Westfall
"Greetings, Colonel Velhawk." - replied Nicholas, touching his hat with two fingers. - "I am Nicholas Randall. No need to apologise for being armed, in times like this." - he added.
"Now, I say we get straight to business. As far as Amora informed me, she gave you the verdant crystal for safe-keeping, and I am inclined to purchase it from you. If you agree to sell it to me, I will immediately transport it to Dalaran, where it will be held under close supervision of people who are into this magical stuff much deeper than we two, I believe. Once you get rid of it, you will no doubt face less difficulties when dealing with the local cultists, since they can detect its presence even though you hid it inside some other device - that's what I supposed, at least. And finally, my financial capabilities allow me to say one more thing - name your price, I'll pay it."

Colonel Velhawk
Westfall
The colonel thought for a few moments, "it is indeed in another object, my sabre, however it is a very strong weapon that was given to me as a gift by the king himself, to loose it I would be rather unhappy about, if the gem could be arranged to be removed professionally and perhaps replaced with another object of similar properties I would be happy to give it to you, but what price are we talking about here?" Velhawk asked, he knew it was probably best if he handed the crystal over rather than endangering his men in the worst happened.
Avemthar
Boat
"I don't really know, I wasn't really there if you know what I mean, I saw a mighty stronghold in a mountainous region, all kinds of monstrosities populated it, then a large group of all races were charging it... Then the last I saw of them they were dying, not just them, but the ones that they were fighting, they had been summoning something... from what I could tell it went wrong though," Avemthar said, "like someone was trying to stop it from happening and had succeeded to a point, but in doing that they were killing everyone there..."
Avemthar shook his head, "it was horrible, but it was after all just a dream... it did kinda feel like someone I knew or know had sent it to me, in a strange way. The night elf shook his head again, "just a nightmare that's all I guess."

"Hmmm..."
Nicholas tapped his chin in thought, than said - "Maybe a Dragon's Eye or an Eye of Zul would be an appropriate replacement? I know a qualified jeweller in Stormwind, I guess we could arrange a meeting. Of course, all expenses are laying on me."

Westfall
Velhawk nodded, "just don't say a word to Amora, she would be pretty ticked off, but I guess your right, it is in all of our interest not to have it around for more than needed, some of my men have been acting a little strangely as of late and I myself have been feeling a bit under the weather," he said. "So, how much would you pay for it? As in, a price range that you would feel comfortable with, besides having the cost my sabre repaired, which shouldn't be too high I hope."
