Silvia nodded, slicing her wrist and allowing her blood to drip onto the rune. Through it, she channeled her power.

The doors were sealed, the Verdict was pounding, but noone would answer. The Blood Queen smiled, the Dreadlords would join them when the portal open.
All one thousand undead were gathered in the room, and an additional thirty San'Layn, recently created. Nearly four dozen recently raised undead, dressed in the colors of the Kirin Tor or Ashen Verdict, also joined them.
The Nerubians, Dragons, Kirin Tor, and even the Verdict were kept out. "Tonight is the night of out freedom brothers and sisters!" The woman shouted, raising her hands in front of where the portal was meant to appear. "Tonight we shall finally escape; after forty years, we shall consume the world in undeath again! Tonight is the night of the scourge!"

Taelani tried to change her dreams, but the act was difficult. Suddenly she woke with a start, shivering and covered in cold sweat. She rubbed her hands over her old scars, still feeling the burning.
She began weeping quietly to herself.

"You belong to me now," Nazevere whispered to Sinna. "You mightas well get used to the pain," she grinned as she turned invisible and hefted the demon over her shoulder.
"How am I supposed to walk past an inn full of people?" Themra asked.

Themra sighed and nodded, following the human. This felt like a bad plan. She was branded as a slave, and slavery was illegal. Nazevere followed contentedly.

Before long, Skreel had found Urdish, and found him to be engaged in combat with another mindless one. He made an effort to calm the zombie with his powers. He preferred it if he could abstain from killing any more.

The runes began to glow as the energy filled them, the glow spreading to all other runes. Great power emitted through them all, filling the air with palpable energy. As the energy grew it seemed to turn towards the rune that Khaz stood on, but made no motion to go towards it. Dag'rema, sweating heavily under her robes, struggled to cast the next spell of the incantation. Once she finished the magical energy dived into the rune and then shot up through Khaz's body, shocking him with intense pangs of agony as it funneled through him.
The energy gathered above his head in a now-visible sphere of liquid red, gasseous purple, and flaming green. "Contain it," she said to Gheze and Silvia. "You may rest now, Vile." She herself monitered the orb as she prepared the next spell in the equation.

Samantha continued to stroll towards Dogal from behind.
Vrem and Gabriel heard the comotion coming from the next square, and the warrior looked towards Vrem to see whether or not they would intervene. Vrem did not move, continuing to sharpen his axe and sit, waiting.

Class: Warlock / Necromancer
Description:
Zar'rok is a Nathrezim warlock and necromancer. He was one of the many Nathrezim that kept the Scourge in check during the early years of the third war, and he was banished back into the twisting nether soon after the Scourge claimed their independence and slaughtered the lot of the dreadlords. He monitored the Scourge's actions from the Nether, and when the time came for them to return and claim the Scourge for the Legion once more he returned to Azeroth with the other Dreadlords and took command of the Scourge. Their numbers have died out over time from the attacks of the blue dragons and Ashen Verdict, but Zar'rok has no intention of dying within the halls of Icecrown Citadel.
"Prepare the portals!" Zar'rok roared to what spellcasters they had. "The time for our release is at hand! Fail now and you shall be thrown to the Verdict for whatever final judgement they so chose!" He watched as the mages prepared the intricite spells and incantations that would be needed, but did not supply his own power. This would likely kill all involved with in on both sides - a notion which they had cleverly kept away from the the young warlock who had sought their aid - and Zar'rok had no intention of being a casuality of it.

Sarvaraad was assigned to take part in overseeing the Scourge only after the Lich King's demise, and wants nothing more than to get rid of this duty, which he continues to uphold simply because he has no choice. To a known extent, he is proficient in all forms of magic, and is most powerful in manipulating fire and blood, having picked up several techniques from the San'Layn and honing them into perfection unreachable for mortals.

Themra walked behind Koren, trying to stay inconspicuous. Orcs were no longer forbidden from the human kingdoms, but they were not exactly welcome, and her brand might get Koren in trouble.

"Glad to have the help, then," Skreel nodded. "I myself must return to the Cathedral along with Dogal. The Blightcaller has been notified of our issue. I trust you can handle the rest of the mindless?"
