"Is the traitor nearby?" Zerksis asked one his scryers in Nazja.
The mage bobbed his head a yes. "Somewhere around here," he replied. "But, Lord Scalebender, I am also sensing the pressence of air-breathers."
"Alliance or Horde?" Zerksis replied, brow rising questioningly.
"Too soon to tell, milord."
The Battle-Mage nodded. "Proceed with caution, inform me when they are within shouting distance but keep your voice down."
"Yes, milord." The Azshar'I continued onward in search of the Runemaster and traitor to the Empress known as Sass.

Lak'tuk opened her eyes from her meditation. They still did not burn with the same fel rage that her father's once had, but she was infused with demonic energy all the same. Still, a warlock she was not, but a warlock she coul appear to be and a warlock she may yet become. She disguised herself once more and stepped out of her tent into the evening air. "Hah'soo," she said to the troll primal guarding the tent. "Gather the others in the center of the ruins, and tell Vile to bring Curho's spellbook." The troll nodded and bounded off.
On the outskirts of the ruins, Karng tampered with his collar, only to recive a shock of energy that would have killed a mortal man. He scowled and ceased his efforts for the time being.

"Your think that these shades your sister has will cause the destruction of Shatterspear Village?" Vol'jin asked Mal'nat, eyebrow raised questioningly.
"Yes, Chieftan," Mal'nat said. "She was in the pressence of the troll Sem'po, I trust you know that he seeks to claim the Chieftanhood of Shatterspear for himself so that he can war on the night elves out of vengence for the past."
Vol'jin nodded. "I will send a band of Shadow Hunters to ensure that he is stopped."
"If I may, cheiftan, I would like to accompany them," Mal'nat asked. "The shades my sister possesses are powerful, but if I can reclaim them we can make sure that they do not interfere with the work of your hunters." Vol'jin agreed.

Several steps away from Karng, sand began to stir and quaver. A figure rose out of it, its vaguely humanoid body completely composed of sand, save for two hollows on its 'head', which were covered by small, round stones. Something was deeply unsettling about the sand golem, for if even the most experienced of arcanists tried to sense its aura, they would feel nothing - as if the construct was a hole torn open in the fabric of reality.
The sand on the golem's 'head' parted, and a jagged hole of a mouth appeared.
"
This is what happens to those who do not break their ties to the Legion. Did not I warn you, Soulsplitter?
" the golem spoke, its voice bereft of any emotions whatsoever.
"
It is not late, though. Neither for you, nor for the little girl that has enslaved you
."

Illia turned and started to walk towards the flight master as she helped dusk remove the bunt shadow from her fur. Pyro laughed at Star-Pelt before he turned to follow Aldos out of the shop.

"Nagorm," Karng said, knowing full well who it must be speaking to him. "You're the one making a mistake. Still... being rid of this collar would be nice."
Lak'tuk's spells on the collar alerted her to a possible danger in terms of Karng, he spoke of removing the collar.

, not thought. There was someone else here, someone the spells on the collar could not sense. She headed out for where the tracking spell on the collar said Karng was.

The golem leaned against a weathered pillar, folding its arms on its chest. Its malformed head slowly turned to Lak'tuk, and its mouth twisted into a wry smile - at least, what could be considered a wry smile by golem standarts.

Little girl is coming here,
" it spoke, "
And little girl is not pleased.

Lak'tuk - still disguised as Dag'rema - spotted the golem as well. "What in the name of Sargeras," she muttered, but decided that it was of little matter. "Karng, destroy this thing."
Karng did nothing.
"Dag'rema" was not pleased, and she activated the spells on the collar, shocking Soulsplitter with energy and forcing him onto his knees. "I will do it myself then," she cast a fel-tainted spell of arcane missles at the golem.
