Early Look at Stormsong Valley - New Zone in Battle for Azeroth
Stormsong Valley is a Kul Tiras zone in Battle for Azeroth, which recently opened on the BFA alpha. Located north of Tiragarde Sound, the fertile lands of the Stormsong Family are home to numerous farms and shipyards. All seaworthy Kul Tiran vessels are blessed by the ancient order of the Tidesages, a religious group who commune with the sea to guide the Kul Tiras' legendary fleet.
Note that this zone is unfinished, as it is missing many NPCs and has a lot of terrain issues (including dying and not being able to recover your body).

Video of New Artifact Weapon Models, Black Rook Hold and Ravencourt Zone Preview
Legion Artifact Weapons have a vast array of unique styles and tints. While we've been previewing these fairly regularly with our modelviewer updates, Artifact Calculator, and transmog recommendations, we had a bit of exciting news this past Alpha update. Several weapons have additional datamined appearances, implying there may be six available artifact styles.
Will this be a special sixth style players can unlock from difficult content (perhaps Challenge Modes)? Or are they replacement models for some old Artifact designs? The Artifact Appearance system is not yet active on the Alpha so we can't confirm how these styles will be used. Perhaps these models will simply be unused, although we hope the sword that resembles Thunderfury makes an appearance.

Legion Alpha Zone Preview: Val'sharah, Shaman Order Hall and Minigame, Dalaran Pet Tournament
Today we are taking a first look at two new zones in the Legion Alpha - the Shaman Order Hall and questing zone

. There have also been minor additions to Dalaran for what looks like the start of a pet tournament.

Guide to Rares, Treasures, Gliders, and Exploration in Nagrand
This guide takes a look at the rare spawns, objects, and glider transportation system in Nagrand.
It highlights the notable loot in the zone, provides screenshots and 3D models of interesting items, and links to Wowhead's rare spawn and treasure maps.
This is the first in a series of exploration guides for each zone in Draenor, more will be coming leading up to the expansion!
Warlords of Draenor Beta: Talador Rares and Garrison Outposts
Garrison Buildings
More buildings are now available on the beta to add to your Garrison! Blueprint vendors now sell all of the level 1 buildings and questing in other zones also unlocks special Garrison Outposts.
The buildings you choose for your outpost will determine what blueprints you get for your Garrison, shape your questing experience, and provide different followers. The buildings you choose for your Outpost in each zone will also grant you unique buffs in that particular zone.
Gorgrond
Your Gorgrond outpost will make you eventually choose between building a
Aserradero Nivel 1
and
Sagrario del gladiador Nivel 1
for your Garrison.
If you choose the
Aserradero Nivel 1
, you will get a shredder letting you access otherwise blocked areas for treasure. If you choose the
Sagrario del gladiador Nivel 1
and complete the full questline, you can free up to five gladiators with distinct buffs to aid you.
The Shredder also automatically appears when there was a clump of tangled vines. The concealed treasures weren't anything interesting yet, but this zone is not fully developed.
After building the Lumber Mill at your Garrison,

has several quests.

, which lets you chop down trees for Garrison Resources.

WoD Alpha: Tanaan Jungle Questing, Shadowmoon Valley Screenshots, UI Improvements
9:30 EST: Added Tanaan Jungle quests to the post.
The Warlords Alpha was playable this evening and Olivia and I explored the two available zones--Tanaan Jungle and Shadowmoon Valley.
We also have the latest
spell changes and new data from this build
, and our modelviewer is also updated to display the new human female, night elf female, draenei male, and undead male models.
You can even preview how your own characters will look by going to
http://www.wowhead.com/list
and entering in your character's info under "Lookup Battle.Net Profile."
UI Improvements
There's a "What's New" Screen highlighting new things in World of Warcraft--on the alpha, it was new character models, collections, and the group finder. There is also a new "Raid Graphics" setting under System, which allows you to specify texture resolution and ground clutter specifically for raids.
Tanaan Jungle: Assault on Another World
Blizzard just released a preview of
Selva de Tanaan
, the Warlords intro zone. In this zone, players meet important lore figures which provide an outline for the story in Warlords of Draenor.
Also of importance, this zone helps newly-boosted 90s familiarize themselves with their new class abilities and mechanics. In a past build, we datamined some info for "Character Upgrade Tier" which includes things like Basic Combat Mechanics, Advanced Combat Mechanics, Control Mechanics, Cooldown and Area Spells, Abilities Fully Unlocked.
In the Warlords database, we have an achievement,
Bienvenido a Draenor
, as well as many items marked as
"Intro Zone"
.

Rare Spawns, Events, Loot
Introduced in 5.4 on the Timeless Isle, Vignettes and rare spawns are making an increased appearance in
Cresta Fuego Glacial
. Players can find a number of rare spawns with unique loot drops (marked by a skull on your minimap) as well as special treasure chests or events (marked by a sword).
As an additional twist, these rare spawns only sometimes show up as a silver elite. If you search for
Vignettes
under the Draenor > Frostfire Ridge section of our Warlords of Draenor quest database, you can get a sense of the types of rare spawns and events available.

faction, were not properly being credited if those reputations subsequently decreased. Players should now be able to earn this achievement if they have ever brought those five reputations to the required levels.

5.4 PTR: Orgrimmar and Razor Hill Changes, New Legendary Quests
Orgrimmar on the 5.4 PTR keeps getting more and more changes. In Patch 5.3, the Kor'kron had the troll section on lockdown, and on the PTR, they've extended their influence over even more of the city.
We also have some details on new legendary quests coming in Patch 5.4, which predictably have you spend time in the Siege of Orgrimmar, but also unexpectedly spend some time collecting
Moneda intemporal
on the Timeless Isle, a new zone that's home to an upcoming pet tournament.

Gamon has moved from the Valley of Strength to the Valley of Wisdom. No longer simply cornered by the Kor'kron, he's being held at gunpoint by them.
The Valley of Spirits is still on lockdown by the Kor'kron, who have also begun tormenting vendors in the Valley of Strength. In particular, the goblin bankers are in a fight and several vendors are huddled in the streets.
