Wowhead Modelviewer Improvements Now Live
In preparation for the new
transmog collections
coming in Patch 7.2, we have given our 3D modelviewer an upgrade for the patch!
Wowhead's modelviewer
now supports extra 3D armor plates layered on top of the default armor pieces. For example, in the
Demon Hunter Tier 20 Set
, the gloves and kilt have special bulky armor pieces on top of the regular armor.
We have always included these details in our Tier previews but now they are visible as you mix and match pieces in the
Dressing Room
. You should see noticeable improvements to
Class Hall Sets
,
Tier 19 Sets
, and
Tier 20 Sets
in the modelviewer.
Rogue Tier 20 Armor Preview - Fanged Slayer's Armor

will have a mount drop from it. This version of the Emissary Cache is from the Paragon version of the reward - a special "Exalted Plus" tier coming in 7.2. You get these caches on the PTR for every 20,000 rep past exalted and collecting 10 of these rewards

. In this post we're previewing the Tier 20 Shaman set, based on
Skyshatter Regalia
.
The Normal set is nearly identical to Tier 6 in style, but the Mythic sets have additional spikes and feathers on the shoulders, as well as glowing effects. All sets have more elaborate belts and 3D gems on the belt, gloves, legs, and chest. The kilt pattern is also modified, with more scales on the front and jagged lightning bolts at the bottom.
Note that this is an early version of the set, and colors and details are subject to change.
Priest Tier 20 Armor Set Models
Patch 7.2 introduces the Tomb of Sargeras raid which drops Tier 20 armor sets, heavily inspired by Tier 6 sets from
Templo Oscuro
. In this post we're previewing the Tier 20 Priest set, based on

The Normal set is nearly identical to Tier 6 in style, but the Mythic sets have a chain on the halo, animated broken shoulder chains, and faces on the shoulders with glowing eyes instead of a blindfold. All sets have more elaborate belts and 3D gems on the gloves and belt.
