The Non-Standard Cards You'll Miss the Most

the announcement of a Standard gametype
for Hearthstone came the news that Goblins vs. Gnomes and Naxxramas would be among the first sets cut from the block. When the new update launches, it would feasibly be possible for you to never see these cards again assuming you only play Standard. And that's pretty crazy given how synonymous some of these cards have become. It's sad in that we're losing some of the cards we've come to know and love, but also exciting since their departure opens up the door for even more cards to become relevant.
So Many Mechs!
If you're one of the few still running Mech Mage or an equivalent race based list on the ladder, we've got some bad news for you. With so many having been introduced in Goblins vs. Gnomes, it pretty much spells death for the deck type.
Paladin's Perfect Curve
For so long players have complained about how Paladin has the best drops in every position. No longer.
Warrior's Best Friends
We're legitimately saddened to be some of these cards leaving our Control arsenal.
Warlock's Direct Damage and Demon Consorts
Looks like Blizzard might need to give some tools back to Warlocks.
Well if you weren't a fan of the RNG heavy damage, there's some good news for you.
Priest's Board Prowess
Hard to imagine a Control Priest without these cards which have become part of its identity.
A cry was heard throughout the world as Hearthstone players simultaneously cried for the departure of Unstable Portal (and those other cards).
Oil Rogue's Arsenal
Considering Rogue already has one of the smallest class diversities in all of Hearthstone, these two reductions are going to hurt.
This is it folks. Arguably the two most controversial cards in all of Hearthstone will be down and out for the count (at least in Standard).
