The Wowhead team is pleased to launch Korean Wowhead! You can find the fully-translated version of the site at
ko.wowhead.com
, or by adjusting the language dropdown found at the top-right corner of any page.
We've listened to your feedback on past localized sites, and are trying out some new major things with our Korean update.
First off, we're trying to make Wowhead's front page more accessible to non-English speakers. On Korean Wowhead, you'll find a
localized blue tracker
, as well as
important translated news
in your language!
To encourage more players to leave comments and feel comfortable on the new site, we've
already translated popular Broken Shore and Shadows of Argus comments
into Korean such as the
Lucid Nightmare
and
Shoot First, Loot Later
.
Finally, our
guide system is set up for translations
! Our Korean localization team has been translating important guides like
Invasion Points on Argus
and the
Netherlight Crucible
.
We used Korean as a trial run for our newest localization tools, as it's a relatively new language on the site. With things running smoothly, we'd like to expand our localization efforts. We've opened up hiring for paid contracted localization positions for all languages. If you would be interested in translating news, writing guides, or assisting with other untranslated parts of the site, please let us know by emailing

Wowhead currently supports Russian, French, German, Italian, Mexican Spanish, Korean, and Brazilian Portuguese. Please include a resume, translation sample, and salary expectations. Note that with BlizzCon fast approaching, we won't likely start sifting through applications until late November.
