Cooking in Legion
Cooking in Legion has some tasty new dishes like bacon, recipe ranks to make dishes easier to craft, and familiar faces like Nomi from Mists of Pandaria!
Nomi
Nomi
has grown up and resides in your Dalaran Inn's kitchen:
I've tried adventuring, and it isn't for me. Cooking is my one true passion: the heat of the stove, the sizzle of bacon... nothing beats it.
In Dalaran, he has the following quest chain for you:

Recipe Ranks
New to Legion are Profession Ranks for each recipe. These ranks improve your crafted yield in two ways - sometimes each rank takes the same amount of materials but yields more food, other times each rank takes less materials to create the same serving. Examples:

: Rank 1 creates 5, Rank 2 creates 7, Rank 3 creates 10

: Rank 1 takes 5 of each type of reagent, Rank 2 takes 4, Rank 3 takes 3

New Recipes
Taking a closer look at some of the food you can craft, a few stand out as particularly tasty or interesting.
There are new food categories - Snacks, Light Meals, Large Meal, Delicacies
Some food offers the usual buff to a secondary stat like

Cooking Materials work in a similar fashion to past expansions. There are different tiers of food where food that grants the weakest buffs is required to create some of the more elaborate meals like

Draenor Dungeon Event
For this week's
Draenor Dungeon Event
, defeating enemies in Heroic or Mythic Draenor dungeons will award you with various Draenor reputations. You will have the buff

which will grant you the reputation. In addition, you can pick up the quest

(Complete 4 Mythic Draenor dungeons) which awards an

and 500 Valor. This cache contains a Heroic-level Hellfire Citadel item.

Reputation is awarded per mob you kill in Mythic and Heroic dungeons during this event. 20 per trash mob, 400 per boss.

for a 20% gain.

Heroics
You can use the LFD tool in game to queue right into your dungeon.
You can queue with a full party of five, or if you have fewer members the tool will fill the party for you.

Mythic Dungeons
Mythic Dungeons were a difficulty added in Patch 6.2.

system in 6.2.3, you can use these Draenor Dungeon weekends to earn valor: Completing your first Heroic of the day awards

, as well as any Mythic dungeons completed.
Mythic Dungeon Loot:
Mythic Dungeons now have a chance to award items ranging from item level 685 to 725 in 5-item-level increments.

that will scale up to level 110.
You cannot queue for Mythic Dungeons through LFD, you must form a party of 5 and enter at the dungeon entrance. Our strategy guides and database pages list where the entrances are for each dungeon.
