Semana de los Niños
is a week in which we brave a challenge greater than any undead monstrosity and a task more daunting than saving the world. We must become parents for all those orphans throughout Azeroth and make sure they are happy. We can't tank a child's fears, we can't heal its memories of pain, nor can we DPS the sorrow out of them. So equip your toys, make a mage conjure a candy table, fill your quiver with joy, load your gun with something colorful, and venture into the World of Parenting!

Due to the advent of Cataclysm,
Children's Week
was changed in 2011 to have two new pets and redone locations for the initial tier of quests. In 2015,
Globo verde
is a toy that counts towards your Toy Box. In 2016,
Globo amarillo
also counts towards your Toy Box.
If you already have all the pets, be sure to pick up
Botiquín para mascotas
--the reward for repeating the holiday, even if you can't get any pets!
Botiquín para mascotas
is new to 2015 and contains a variety of items including pug costumes like
Gran lazo rosa

Galleta de mascota mágica
, and
Piedra de duelo impecable
. This is an alternative reward from the orphan quests and great if you already have the pets!

The Toy Box in Warlords of Draenor lets you save vanity items to an account-wide collection. Children's Week has two items for your Toy Box.

in Orgrimmar and
Chichón Perinola
in Stormwind for . They also sell a

which has been added as a toy in Patch 6.2.2.

Horde Quests
There are two orphans that Horde players can adopt during Children's Week, each with different quests. You can adopt both orphans (at the same time, even) and complete both quest chains and obtain two cute pets per year! This is in addition to the neutral Northrend orphan both factions can adopt for an additional pet.
Orcish Orphan (Grunth)
You can adopt an Orcish orphan in
Orgrimmar
by speaking with

to summon your orphan, Grunth, and complete this quest.
Once you have completed this quest, three new quests become available from your orphan:

. He wants to ride an experimental rocket that's found at the Southern end of the Rocketway and blast off!

For this quest, bring your orphan to the Royal Quarter (map) of

to meet Lady Sylvanas. He's always dreamed of meeting such an influential Horde figure. To get to The Undercity from Orgrimmar, take the zeppelin to Brill.

For this quest, bring your orphan to Red Rocks (map) in the Northeastern mountain range of
Mulgore
. He wants to pay tribute to the now deceased Cairne Bloodhoof by visiting his funeral pyre. To get to Mulgore from Orgrimmar, take the zeppelin to Thunder Bluff.
Upon completion of all three of these quests, two new quests will become available:

For this quest, your orphan wants to try a new type of ice cream! All you have to do is head to the Goblin Slums (map) in

If this is your first year doing the Northrend Children's Week quests, you can choose to sponsor either of these two unfortunate orphans by talking to

. You can only pick one or the other orphan to adopt, so choose wisely as you will have to wait until next year to obtain the other pet or complete these quests on an alt. You must be 70 or above to pick up these quests.

For this achievement, you must obtain these three battle pets on

character via questing:

. Buying them on the AH won't give credit. This achievement is
not
required for the meta achievement
