Assuming infinite mana? Haste. Then again since any sort of remotely healing intensive fight will cause a holy pally to spam Holy Light there will never be too much Int...until we can get to numbers like 5,000 mp5, then we will never need 40k mana pools again.

With DR on haste, at what haste rating value does crit atually give you better throughput (point for point) on Holy Light spamming?
In all seriousness i don't think there would ever be a point, because by the time you have enough haste to make this happen your int would be through the roof and indirectly your crit would be through the roof (like 50%+ raid buffed easily) at which point you would go back to sp stacking... However by this gear level i would imagine unless i tank gets 1 shot or you personally get silenced i wouldn't see the tank dying anyway.

But if he's also right about the tank basically not dropping (not counting one shots or silences) you wouldn't need crit either. You'd probably gem for stamina at that point, really.

And
AND
There's a reason pally power doesn't offer wisdom buffs to DK's, Warriors, and Rogues. THINK ABOUT IT.
As far as stacking intellect and haste, it seems to me that if one stacked enough haste to reach a one second GC on HL, then one has probably foregone enough intellect so as to go OOM 30 seconds into a boss fight. If mana were infinite, this would be something completely different obviously.
As a holy pally, knowing your role in a fight and anticipating the incoming damage by knowing the fight can truly make all the difference in the world. As an example, say you're the MT healer on XT and the heart drops. Your tank stops taking damage as does everyone else, but most of the raid except for the tank is at low health because some nimrod didnt get far away with a bomb on him not to mention the tantrum that proceeded the heart drop. You healed the tank up to full as well as yourself. Anticipation that no one will be taking damage for the next 15-20 seconds allows you to pop your divine plea yet save your wings for that shot to the nose the tank is gonna take later and you need to hit some big heals. Getting the raid healed up isnt a bad idea either, but you also have to remember you have more phases of this fight to get through. OH BUT WAIT! I stacked a crap ton of intellect so when I pop divine plea, I can spam FOL to infinity and by the time the boss wakes up again, I will still be at full mana and no one was taking damage while I was eating the 50% healing penalty while divine plea was up.
Again just an example, but as a healadin, your mana pool can survive just about anything if you know your role and know the fight and have a reasonable anticipation of incoming damage. But overstacking haste just seems like a way to go OOM more quickly if you aren't extra careful.
Overstacking intellect, however, really has no adverse side effects other than this. If your haste rating is so low (less than 375 IMHO) that you're heals dont get off fast enough, you might consider swapping a gem or two, but my experience thus far has been that gear itself along with a nice cloak enchant will pretty much give you all the haste you need. What intel stacking will do is give a bigger return when you pop DP, increase your SP, and most importantly, make your mana pool the envy of every hunter in the raid until 3.3.
