I'm trying to rework a canon-friendly worgen death knight's backstory.
Lore wise, I'm trying to see if it's possible to have him as a follower of Lord Crowley who escaped Gilneas during the Northgate Rebellion by smuggling out, and winded up living in solitude in Silverpine. Not long after this, however, he was attacked by a pack of Moonrage worgen originating from Shadowfang and fell under the curse. Following these, he remained a feral worgen for a few years before being killed himself by a group of hunters from Pyrewood. Not long after, he was raised as a death knight to which he served under the Lich King until his demise.
Canonically, is the timeline of events (Northgate Rebellion, the Worgen Curse, and Pyrewood) all correct?
Also, the backstory is plain because I have yet to fix it up. This is just an abridged version.

Nope. All Worgen Death Knights are from the Silverpine pack.

You can, but sadly when it comes to the Death Knights they all have a rather tight time line: All of them are 3rd Gen who were killed at some point in the time between the very end of Vanilla, a little into the start of BC and finally occurring 6 months before the start of Wrath.
It's just not possible for them to have been on the other side of the Wall, especially as your Friend makes it clear when you were captured/killed.

Unless someone raised some Gen 3s post-Wrath.

Then they wouldn't technically be 3rd Gen.

He DID say that he continued to serve the Lich King. I see no problem with that.

True... but Gen4 seems so fanon-y.
We also have some Gen2 DKs running around with Satiara and William Morec.

Unless someone raised some Gen 3s post-Wrath.That's a bit of a stretch. I don't think anyone is strong enough to raise Death Knights without the Lich King, and the current Lich King wouldn't allow it.

Technically speaking, if someone approached the current (un)living knights of ebon blade and asked to join their ranks and train with them, they could learn the dark arts of necromancy, and become a living death knight, which would sap their life slowly, until they become undead without having to be killed and rezzed.
Its certainly one plausible way to be a new-gen DK without the need of the lich king (And I still refuse to acknowledge any "third gen" death knights. There's the first gen, which were human corpses with orc warlock souls in them, and there's second gen, the ones from the scourge, wielding runeblades, and mixing necromancy with physical combat. Just because the so-called "Third Gen" is more abundant, doesn't make them ANY different from the second gen. I mean really, today there's more paladins than any other point in the second or third war. Does that makes current paladins "second gen"? nope, still the same as the first.)

On a related note, what would be the best way do have the origin of an Orc DK that wasn't in the Argent Dawn. The Horde didn't really have a presence in EPL back in Vanilla and TBC.

There's always the Blackrock. Or even members of the Horde sent to help reinforce the Bulwark or help the Forsaken militarily as mercenary or scouts. They wouldn't be abundant, but it's plausible.

They may not have had a presence, but it was still possible for them to be killed in the plaguelands while doing tasks for the Dawn and the others who moved around in those lands. Or they could have been killed in assaults on Stratholme.
