30% extra melee haste for some classes... how should I view this?

Ok, say
some trinket
I see gives nearly 5% haste according to wowhead, but i'm playing a class who gets 130% melee haste. How exactly does this change work? Do I get 6.5% melee haste from this? Or does it say it gives me 5% and the extra 30% is something I can't see on my character sheet?

That doesn't answer my question. Flurry was nerfed to provide 25% melee haste, rather than 30%. The idea behind this was because of the buff to haste rating as I remember but that doesn't make sense since Flurry is raw haste and not a rating. So i'm wondering if haste was simply changed in an odd way (i.e, it says 10% haste but you get the benefit of 13%) or if the haste rating needed for 1% was just decreased. Wowwiki isn't clear enough.
Edit: Forget that, Flurry nerf was just a straight damage nerf >.>

Yes, it does answer your question, very clearly:
Haste stacks multiplicatively. ... Haste rating stacks additively with itself (two sources of 100 haste rating give 200 haste rating stacked together) and then is converted into a percentage that stacks multiplicatively with other sources of haste.
Actually, rereading your second post I have no idea what you are even asking.
Flurry = 25% raw haste. The trinket = 4.67% haste after rating conversion. End result: 1.25x1.0467 = 1.308375, or a 30.8375% increase in attack speed. Raw haste from talents or buffs is only shown by the reduced attack speed of your weapon, it does not get converted in rating (unless the talent or buff provides rating itself).
