How to get the most out of Wowhead's Warlords of Draenor Talent Calculator

Wowhead has updated the
Warlords of Draenor Talent Calculator
, to include glyphs as well as all the updated spec-specifc abilities and Draenor Perks. But maybe you're wondering how to use it? How do you see all these new features?
The main body of the calculator, which we can see to the right, should be pretty familiar. It works exactly like the in-game one does, only it's been updated for Warlords. You'll notice some differences among the lower level talents as well as the new level 100 talents. What's more, the tooltips have been updated to only reflect your selected spec's version of the talent.
A great example is
, a new level 90 Monk talent. If you mouse over it with any of the three specs selected, the tooltip will update to show the appropriate version of the talent. You can select your spec at the bottom of the talent calculator on the left-hand side.
Clicking any of the Glyph slots you see to the right of the main calculator will open up a list of glyphs. Select from the list, and it will add that glyph into your build. Glyphs are also searchable if you're looking for a certain one, and spec-specific, so feral-only glyphs will not appear in a balance build. It's worth noting that if you have one modification for an ability selected, it won't let you pick another. Technical Game Designer Chadd "Celestalon" Nervig has confirmed that this is the correct behavior for this system.
Abilities and Draenor Perks
You can see the abilities and Draenor Perks section of the Talent Calculator below.
This section of the calculator will show you every ability you learn at each level, all the way from 1 to 100, based on the spec you have selected on the left-hand side. So while every Monk learns the same skills at levels 1, 3, 5 and 7, they alter according to spec from level 10 onwards. With the "All" option selected, as we see in the image above, you see every ability. There are symbols to the left of the level 10 talents that show they are spec-specific.
Moving across, the "Class" tab will show you the abilities that are for the entire class, not specific to different specs. The "Spec" tab will show you just your spec's abilities. All of these are updated for Warlords of Draenor, with removed abilities removed, and include your Draenor Perks by spec.
If it's just the Draenor Perks you're interested in, then the "Perks" tab is for you. As you can see to the left, it shows just your perks for your class and spec, which will all be learned randomly from level 91 to 100. They're a new type of skill upgrade introduced with Warlords of Draenor that add a little more to existing spells every time you level up, and allow you to learn your rotation as you level, rather than having something completely new at level 100.
If you want to see the perks that your entire class gets, then you can scroll all the way to the bottom of the Class tab, and if you want to know the ones that are exclusive to your spec, then do the same on your spec tab. Clicking any of these perks or the aforementioned abilties will open up the Wowhead ability page where you can see more information. And if you want to see them all laid out in full for every class, you can visit

Sharing your build
Sharing your build is easy. As you add talent choices and glyphs, Wowhead automatically builds a URL that links to your choices. You can hit the "link" button above the glyphs to copy that link, or simply take it from the address bar in your browser. These links can, of course, be shared anywhere, even in game. Good Luck!
